Questions & Answers

What are the board's (L,W) dimensions, as well as the roller's diameter?

About 35 people are on the board. 5" x 14. It's about 3/4" thick and measures 5" in diameter. The roller measures approximately 29 inches in diameter. 5 inches long x 4 inches wide The diameter is 5 inches. Of course, if the information is critical to you, you should contact the company directly. They've always been prompt in answering questions in the past.

What is the best surface for this? Carpet? Hardwood? Is it necessary to place a mat underneath it?

The faster it rolls, the slicker the surface is, the less resistance it encounters. br>Because the roller picks up anything on the floor or ground, I've used it on a throw rug and those puzzle foam floor padding pieces (which fit together like a puzzle) to reduce damage to the roller. br>Use a mat or something similar underneath the roller if you want it to last.

What is the maximum amount of body weight that this board can support?

I'm 170 pounds, but I believe the board could easily handle someone around 200 pounds.

Is this board just as good for snowboard training as other Amazon boards that specifically mention snowboarding?

Yes, because every board sport necessitates balance, which you can achieve by daily training on the Revolution Swell. Once you've mastered this balance training board, you'll be able to transfer that comfort and sense of balance to other board sports like snowboarding, surfing, and so on. For snowboarding, I prefer my Revolution Swell because it offers more versatility and different training styles. So, if you want to use it for long-term balancing, you should set it to that. On the roller, the heel-toe technique required for snowboarding is closely replicated.

Excellent, but it has the potential to be hazardous!   I bought it to help me with my crossword puzzles
4/5

Taking steps to surf I use it with the roller parallel to the board's long axis, and after two weeks, I was able to cross-stitch it. Take a step over it. br>br>Here's a big cautionary note: You will fall, particularly if you use it lengthwise. Even if you use the 6x6 foot area recommended by the instructions, you may run into some furniture. In the few weeks that I've been using this, I've had more painful hard falls than I've had in my 30 years of surfing. Skiing and bicycling are both examples of this. I now wear a helmet, and I once collided with a corner of a bureau so hard that I would have ended up in the hospital or worse if I hadn't been wearing one. There isn't a single exaggeration in this statement. br>br>Three times I've whacked my head, once I bruised my hip, and once I bruised my elbow. br>br>On the other hand, I believe it has aided my longboard cross-country skiing. a significant increase in height So, if you're over 60 (I'm 67), consider whether the risk is worthwhile. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Although I decided that using it lengthwise (roller parallel to the board's long axis) was too dangerous, I continue to use it in the side-to-side direction. configuration on the side This is fantastic for strengthening your core.

It's an excellent training tool, but proceed with caution

I'm a 53- year- I'm a 45-year-old who has been standup paddleboarding for over 15 years, but I never got into skateboarding as a kid. I bought the Revolution Swell on the spur of the moment, thinking it would help me practice my SUP balance when I wasn't on the water. Unless there's crazy chop and 20 mph winds, I never fall off my board anymore. Nonetheless, I began on grass with the Revolution Swell's easiest setting (cool magnet stoppers on the bottom of the board). For a few seconds, I was barely able to keep my balance. However, after a few days, I've progressed to the harder setting and can now go for more than 4 minutes at a time. Your core, groin, and adductor muscles are all worked out. Be warned: attempting to balance on concrete will almost certainly result in serious injury. Simply put, you should not. Find a large carpeted room or a patch of grass away from any hard surfaces. What a brilliant idea. I'm hoping to be dancing around on the board like the people in the videos in a few months. My adolescent children are also completely engrossed in it, and they compete to see who can stay balanced for the longest.

Buttercup, take a deep breath and make a decision
5/5

I needed to replace a cheaper wooden balance board that had begun to fall apart after only a few years. I debated whether or not to spend the money on this one. This board has turned out to be incredible and well worth the money. The magnetic stoppers are a fantastic feature that allow you to change your stance in seconds. Because I surf and snowboard, being able to use this in two positions was critical to me, and it far exceeded my expectations. The board's size and shape are ideal for a variety of exercises, and it's far superior to my previous one. I'm very excited to begin working on a pop-up book. Revolution Swell 2 allows you to do push-ups. This is a board that I strongly suggest!!.

Board of excellent quality We've already noticed a difference in balance
5/5

Board of excellent quality roller. It's very comfortable to wear barefoot thanks to the foam padding on the top side. I've never ridden a skateboard before, and I've wrecked snowboards in the past, so when I first got the board, I struggled to stay on for more than 2, 3, 4, or 5 seconds. At the end of the day, I'm up to nearly five minutes. I enjoy the challenge and am excited to see how far I can progress.

Love it! It'll get you moving and have you having a good time
5/5

I've only had it for a few days, but I've already put it to good use. It's a great leg workout that's both challenging and fun. I needed something like this to keep me occupied at home as a frequent kite/snow/longboarder. If I'm watching a show or playing a video game, I pay attention to it every second. My balance has already improved a little, and I can feel my leg muscles being worked! Spins and squats have also become a part of my routine. It adds to the workout in a significant way. br>br>Water sport enthusiasts will appreciate this because the bottom stops can be switched to the long edges, allowing you to practice wave-type balance scenarios. br>br>With the stoppers removed entirely, it becomes even more difficult, and you can twist and turn to your heart's content. br>br>The only "complaint" (which is minor) is that the blue part of the board is made of a different material that makes it a little slick if you walk around barefoot. It's only after you've been on it long enough for your feet to sweat that you'll notice it, and even then - Simply put, socks are required. br>br>It's very comfortable to stand on, with a sturdy wood surface and soft and durable foam on top, and the roller hasn't damaged my hardwood floor despite all of my falling! br>br>In any case, I highly recommend this to both beginners and advanced balance boarders because it can be customized to fit your needs. Also great for snowboarders who have trouble with rail balance, as well as surfers (and pretty much anyone who enjoys a board sport). It's also quite lovely!.

If you don't succeed the first time, try again

Although we had some issues with the USPS on my first order (they never delivered it, then told me the tracking number was incorrect despite the fact that I sent a screenshot of the tracking number used in their system), this was a gift for my husband. I could go on, but that's beside the point. (By the way, way to go USPS, you only have one job. ) We finally got our second order, and it's fantastic. Magnet safe guards are of excellent quality and do not slip! Even my unbalanced @$$ had a good time balancing on it. It's also great for boosting the intensity of your workout! It's possible that I'll have to place an order right now!.

It's a wonderful thing! 😉

Pros: br>I really like how the difficulty levels are varied. It's simple enough to put to the side. make an appearance. It's a hit with the whole family. A five-year-old happily enjoys using the board with supervision and the assistance of the back of the couch or hands for stability. br>br>Cons: br>If there is anything on the ground/carpet, the roller will indent. I've only had the board for three days and it's already chipping on the bottom. It has a slight bow to it, which is surprising given the price. br>br>Overall: I'm really excited about this piece of exercise equipment that looks and feels like a toy. 🤙🏽.
