You can do more than just track your workouts in the book. However, it would have been better if there were more lines for actual workouts than other stuff you do on a daily basis. Since I track my food on a separate site, I would prefer to have more space to record my exercise. There are only eight lines and I tend to do between 10 and 12 different exercises, so I have to write two exercises on one line sometimes and it looks cluttered. This is just a personal OCD of mine, though.

*Must have for all levels of activity. Cons Recently, I have added a few more exercises to my workout that surpass the eight lines for strength and place them in the notes This is not a problem, but you should not complain about it. • This book is almost finished and I'll have to buy another in the very near future.
There are ten slots per day devoted to strength training exercises, three slots to cardio exercises, a section to note your calories, and a nutrition section. In some cases it may not be a good fit because you do more than ten strength exercises per workout, but I do 11 with the extra in the notes section, along with my stretches. A notebook at the back of the book is where I keep track of my running days. There is also a "Where Am I Now?" section in this journal. I appreciate it when you check in on pages throughout the notebook so I can see your progress. In addition to different sections for goals, events, checklists, and info, the app offers exercises tailored to specific muscles and nutrients found in typical My needs are met well by it, and I like it a lot.
There is only one annoying thing about this book the bookmark. That paper doesn't stay put, it's just paper that tears very easily. Having that limitation makes it difficult to flip back and forth between past workouts and the present. Next time I make a fitness journal, I'm hoping it will come with attached bookmark strings and a pen holder. There are several pros to this There is enough room to add any extras to the workout days. I like the way you outline the the days and workouts, because it covers everything important. The "where are you now" page is a nice touch. The material is easy to read and reflect on.

A goal sheet can be found on the front of the journal, while the event page is at the back. During the course of your training, you can record measurements and include progress photos if you wish.
My sister had purchased this as a gift for someone for Christmas, but the pages appear to be nice and not too thin, and I like the format of this journal This gift will be a great gift for the recipient, and I can't wait to give it to them!.
I like it as a workout diary because it helps me keep track of my exercises and allow me to set goals and track my progress without feeling like I'm not improving There is only one drawback the bookmark is awkwardly thin, so repeated use does wear it down over time.
There needs to be more pages for goals and achievements Notes on the back can be made on more blank pages. It's hard to write goals and dates because there's not enough space.
