This brand of socks and several others were on the list when I looked it up months ago. It is difficult for me to remember just how much Marino wool was in these socks, but it was higher than in all the other brands I evaluated. My memory does not allow me to recall any socks that were 100% comfortable. All I can say is that I consider these socks They are the best and most comfortable socks that I have ever owned, and I have given them as Christmas gifts to many friends, some who live much further north than I do, and they have all enjoyed wearing them, appreciated the warmth and comfort they provide, and said they are the best

They are so cheap. This is the first time in my life that I regret purchasing The first thing you notice about them is that they smell awful. Terrible. I think I've just cried myself to sleep. My entire laundry room smelled of a chemical odor that will not go away after numerous washings (the stench was so strong that it stunk my laundry area). In addition, they do not feel thick at all, including in the heel, compared to other wool socks I have bought. It turns out that these socks are only about 56% merino wool from reading the questions/answers (after buying them, because I'm dumb) because I have a feeling they're not even "wool" socks. It is better to spend a little more on good socks than to waste your money on these. This was a very poor decision on my part to buy 3 packs.
These were seen by me and I read the reviews, so I decided to go for it. That was a great decision for me. As for the 4 star instead of 5, it's because they are a little too large and my size 10 foot does not fit in the heel comfortably.
