The 11 year old in my family bought the XL. The weight of the person is 85 pounds. I think this is a good fit. There are too many small sizes in Under Armor. As it is winter where I live, I always buy a size XL. If it is a little big, I wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. This is a short sleeve shirt
No, I don't think he will fit into the YXL. The YXL fits my son, who weighs less than 100 lbs, who is 12 years old
This is a medium age for a child of 8 years The XL size fits my son who is 13 years old.

I bought a youth small (YSM) for my grandson who wears a size 7/8.
I agree, but. This was purchased in green. It's a beautiful color, but we had to send it back because it was faulty. He is tall, gangly, and has wide shoulders (but he is thin), so it was for my grandson, who is 15 years old. In my opinion, the shirt was far too stretchy across the shoulders and it wasn't exactly tight through the torso, but it didn't have any extra room and was far too short for contemporary At this point, it appears he has graduated from a medium to a small in men's. This shirt should fit a shorter kid with regular shoulders. It is good quality, and the Under Armour logo is known to appeal to kids.
My son is 12 1/2 years old, 5 feet and 92 lbs, so a YLG should've fitted him a little long, however, the shirt rises up above his belly button when he raises his hands in the air. I'm not a fan of returning things, so he still wore it. Otherwise, the shirt is a nice shirt, it has a nice color, and fits well all around. Because of the size being so large everywhere else, I wouldn't size up.
A check mark was placed next to both boxes. In a crowd, I can easily see him in the shirt because it is super soft and dries quickly. You win.
The kid sizes I typically wear for my son are an 8 or medium. People said it ran small in the reviews. As a result of the positive reviews on this shirt, I bought a large on him, and it is too big and long for To determine whether a garment fits true to size, I recommend examining the size chart.
It does stretch (which is why my son loves it). There isn't too much thickness, but there is enough thickness. You can imagine how dirty it gets when a teenage boy wears it. It is easier to clean since it is made from this material. It has been a favorite for active wear for my boy for over 6 months and while he is almost outgrown it, it has been one of his most favorites. This is a very durable material.
Good quality at a low price. There is an apparent centering issue with the large screen printed logo on the front of the shirt. There is a wink of over an inch in it. The shirt would be sent back by me if it was mine. If there's anyone looking, it'll just be mistaken for lopsided because it's for my 7 year old son who is always active and runs around. If they do notice, maybe they'll think he's wearing it by mistake.
