The surface type is not one that I have tried yet. Fiberglass is a predominant material, so I would not anticipate it being a problem. If I were using toothpaste, I would use a small buffer to make it softer. Those techniques have worked for me in the past with headlights, so they will probably work for your situation as well.

The deck of my boat gets cleaned really well by this company. There's a problem with this since it leaves the deck slippery, making standing up to fish dangerous. Reading different reviews of products and following directions carefully helped me choose the right product. As a wax, I thought it would make the deck non-slip like something you'd put on a surfboard. I don't regret using it, but I'll be more careful about it next time.
