The circuit should be broken by pushing in. My base is coated in waterproof soft material, I installed it on my golf cart with the thought that water would not leak down the shaft. It is better than most I have tested, but some water will still leak down the shaft in the winter when it freezes up.

A 10-amp switch such as this was perfect for wiring an electric windshield wiper in my 1937 Ford. The shaft fit perfectly (length and diameter) through the existing cigar lighter housing (which made no sense to have in the first place). As soon as I inserted the 32 shaft I noticed that the original cigar lighter knob actually threaded into it. By pressing the knob, the cigar lighter appears to be the original one.
In my case, I am using the kill switch to replace the one on a 1958 Fastwin outboard motor. The switch looks and works great. Despite my initial skepticism, I actually like it much more than the original As opposed to holding a button with your thumb, there is no pressing of a button to turn the engine off. The engine is turned off almost immediately with one quick pull and it is not necessary to hold I also love the fact that it seems sealed very well.
The Cole Hersee is reliable and quality is one of the reasons why I use it in almost all my situations. This is an excellent book!.
Three of these marine switches sit on the aft deck of my sea kayak and are attached to my three-part sea kayak In the bilge In my 22' triple sea kayak, I have an easy-to-use pump system. To keep us safe, they must perform well. * * *UPDATE During the first four seasons of use in freshwater, one of the switches began to corrode Because I cannot find another product that is suitable for this application, I decided to replace it with the same switch. Using the photo, we can see that the switch corrosion has been shown to occur when it is This boat is kept indoors in fresh water and is only used less than 10 times each season. It isn't the kind of thing to inspire confidence.
This is a great replacement of the original nav light switch that came on an '84 In its proper place, a off, both lights on and stern light on should be used. Due to the fact that I am not on the water much at night, I selected this one.
As the leads are sealed, it causes less hassle to install the switch since you don't have to attach them directly to the switch (which can be difficult in tight spaces).
The switch to choose is this one if you want to replace it once and be done with it.
