Questions & Answers
It looks like the back of my transom is a bit slanted. What are the chances of this still working ?
The bottom of my chair is slightly lower than the top, so I added chair bottom rubber nubs on the bottom I found at Ace Hardware to take up the space, or added a block of wood siliconed to the hull to keep it
There is a slight angle between the transom and the bottom. Is this still going to work for ?
According to the looks of things, it's going to happen.
When the latter is being stored, does it pop up or does one have to lift it up?
Folding it up and snapping it into the clip to store it is the only way to store
To mount this, what kind of bolts should I use?
am not sure what size phillips I purchased, but I will just get a single 1" round head screw and drill a pilot hole just smaller than the screw thread any hardware store will be able to assist you with the correct drill size. I will only use stainless steel screws. The ladder is perfect for saltwater use and is great for mines. Boaters 5200 white sealer should be used behind it in order to keep the transom dry.

I found it just what I needed and would recommend it to others
There just aren't enough steps on this ladder for many boats, and it's too narrow for them. I chose it because, owing to a very limited amount of space on my boat, it was my Particularly for how much money is involved. The only reason I left 4 stars was that I did not have any You will see that my installation was different from yours, I must have trimmed the standoff legs 1 inch for my installation. I mentioned that this is particular to my installation, and such a step should not be required for other installations.

Ladder of a small size
Using existing bolts that matched perfectly on the transom, I wasn't required to drill any new ones to mount the transom to the boat. I was able to climb into it with ease despite my weight of 215 pounds. The 4 step ladder would have been the better choice though, if given the chance to do it over again. However, it's still an extremely useful ladder despite its small size.

It fits my boat perfectly, so if I fall out of it, I just need a ladder to get back in
Some reviews complain about the size, but it fits my boat perfectly it's small and all it needs to do is get me back in. There is a BASS TRACKER 16 on my computer. My boat is a 6 WT bass boat, so it didn't need a big ladder, this one is perfect for me!.

This is a great price for the quality
Our aluminum fishing boat is the perfect place to use this flip down ladder. The tube made it so much easier to get in the boat while For our ladder to stay out of the water, we use a rubber strap. My weight is 270 pounds and I have not experienced any problems using it.

I like it! Nice narrow ladder for Boston Whaler 13 Super Sport
Bracket constructed from 2 large angle irons and the step is teak. It is mounted over top of the transom where the kicker motor would be. The foam core has wood reinforcements.

Small boats will benefit from this
Our 15" Key Largo has been looking for a ladder for years now, and this was perfect because it required only two holes in the transom, which is what hubby was worried about the legs fit below the water line without any additional mounting hardware we are delighted!.

It's definitely a small fella, but it works just fine
It took me a while to realize how small this thing actually is when I opened the box. However, it is adequate. I would prefer a slightly larger ladder, but it gets the job done. I have few options for a ladder in my pontoon because the stern does not have a deck. The Speedo Shelf was easy to install and fold up nicely. I find stepping on the shelves to be much more difficult.
