There is no reason to think that these fenders will not We have been using them for a few weeks, and they have held up quite well during recent There is only one downside, which is a pinhole leak that came with it. In view of the fact that I had to repair the item, I knocked down a star. A plumber's two-inch plug was used to plug the leak PVC primer and cement (part of the bonding product). Repairing a surface this way requires a little more effort than just applying each component one at a time. Make sure all the components are in Do not attach the inflation needle to the pump. Insert it into the valve without attaching it to the pump. As you apply each component to the pinhole, suck air out of the fender with your mouth as you apply the threads of the inflation needle. If you do this, your components will be drawn into the pinhole and you will get a much better result. Let the repair rest for 24 hours before fully inflating it.
Good packaging and prompt delivery made the item easy to open. The needles provided were not compatible with the pump that was included in the package. There was no thread on the pump, but there was thread on the needles (the parts that screwed into the pump). Or, to put it another way, the pump is not useful. As long as I held the needle properly with one hand and the tube between my legs, I held the pump over the needle with the other. Even though I took a long time to pump up the fender, I finally did. Although the first one worked fine, the second one was impossible to keep air in. When I was unable to inflate any of them, I deflated the one that was okay while putting them into The frustration was too much when there are a gazillion other vendors who sell the same product.
A set of 4 fenders and lines is offered at a good price. Three out of the four fenders did inflate, though. valve on the fourth fender leaking, resulting in total failure of the fender. Because I did not go through with a return / exchange, it is impossible to tell whether or not the vendor would replace the item. Similar to other commercial fenders, it seems the construction and quality of this fender is similar as well.
It's great to have bumpers like these. The 2020 Yamaha 195S is equipped with them. It seems they are a touch too large because of the Yamaha, but if you hang them just right they are fine.
They do not fit perfectly because of the Yamaha, but if they are hung correctly they are ok. Even though the images make them seem small, you need to realize they are very robust. They can hold up to high pressure, which is why many of my boating friends are ecstatic about them.
The fenders are well-built and durable and of comparable quality to other erections of the same brand. Our boat is 60 feet long, so we use these over a floating dock to protect it. It is available at a reasonable price and works well.
When we are heading out on our boat, we often run into up to five or six friends on their boats and tie up to visit for a while. We have tested various bumpers on our boat, and they have proven to be perfect for us. It has so far been a great product!.
Out of the box, we were pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of the boxes. It took me about one minute to blow these up with a bicycle floor pump with the hand pump included, it would have taken longer. The boat came with several needles, so I plan on storing it on the boat. It seems as though the front fenders are holding up well, but this may be resolved by replacing them. Should I encounter deflation issues, I will return and revise my review accordingly.
