The tubes are made of upgraded aluminum and feature spring-loaded clips rather than sheet metal screws that can loosen at inconvenient times. All of the fittings are made of heavy black nylon, and the nuts are stainless nylock. All of the necessary hardware is included, as well as a few extras. The eye hooks are made of stainless steel, not cheap plastic. This is of higher quality than the $150 competitors, but not as good as custom SS tubes, which can cost upwards of $300. It took me a long time to realize that the boot is built into the top - Simply unzip the extra flap in the top and wrap it around the top before re-zipping it. zip. The material is a light canvas that appears to be quite durable. br>br>The fittings are not steel, but rather a thick nylon that should last for years, and all of the common failure points have been upgraded (strap connections to poles, pole interconnections, and strap clips). To make removal and reinstallation easier, a thumb screw hinge fitting screw is included. installation is made simpler. The delivery was much quicker than I had anticipated. Minor disappointments br>br> The nylock nut is held by friction in the hinge fitting, but the recess is not tight enough to hold the nut. I put a dab of silicone on the nuts to see if that would hold them in place, and I noticed some crazing in the clear coat on the aluminum tubes on the outside radius of the bends, which is common when you buy pre-made bends. I coat tube stock and bend it, but I pay attention to the details.
It worked perfectly for my Intex Excursion 5, and I was able to adapt the deck mounts to the oar storage rings without drilling.
This was purchased with mounting brackets for my '94 Stingray at a cost of $67. 5" This product claimed to have a 67-day shelf life. It is not in the 72" range. The poles are solid, with rivets and integrated spring clips, and there is no way to adjust them, as the seller claims. We've reached 75 percent completion. 5".
I had to purchase additional hardware for my 19ft Bayliner due to the boat's design. I also bought the rear support poles on ebay from a different seller. The finished product meets my expectations.
It fits my Starcraft mariner, which is 18 feet long! Best Buy on the market! Because the price is so low and there are so few reviews, I was a little skeptical. But allow me to make one point. Wow! br>br>First and foremost, despite a 14-day shipping window, it arrived in just four days. br>br>The quality is significantly better than I anticipated for the price. There isn't a trace of flimsiness here. The only thing I would change is the main swivel attachment to the boat, which could be made of metal rather than plastic. However, it appears to be durable. br>br>It was simple to install and looks fantastic on my 76 Starcraft mariner. br>br>You must purchase this all around. I'm assuming that this company is brand new, and that as word spreads, prices will skyrocket.
5 stars, without a doubt. All mounting hardware is included, including a screwdriver, making installation a breeze. To drill holes for screws, all you need is a drill and a drill bit. Definitely water resistant, with a high-quality canvas that will last for years. For maximum sun protection, I ordered a second one to be installed on the same boat.
Materials of exceptional quality. With this above our heads, the summer will be much cooler. The smallest size is ideal for a 14-foot force-5 sailboat. I noticed that they have it backwards on the boats in the pictures (yellow boat). The white tags can be seen on the back. My tags have the word "front" written on them, so that's why they're there. It may or may not be significant, but it may have an impact on how your boat appears. Mine 100% is perfection and a killer deal.
This shade is of excellent quality, and it fit our Intex excursion 5 without any adjustments. We simply used a zip tie to secure the mounting piece to the ore lock. The rope holder holes around the side of the boat are easily clamped with the four adjustable straps. It's simple to assemble and only takes a few extra minutes, but it's well worth the time spent out of the heat. So far, I'm really pleased with my purchase. We used it for the first time on the lake today.
