Questions & Answers

Can this stand be adjusted? Is there a hole for that or is it just a bolt that moves?

In this stand top, there are no holes the bolt just tightens up and secures the top.

Thanks in advance. I noticed the stand is adjustable. Could you tell me the height when the bow roller is collapsed and extended?

Up to the top of the three-inch roller, it can be adjusted between 17" and 22". The maximum extension is 22 inches at collapsed size and 17 inches at collapsed size.

I have a 3 inch boat trailer frame will this fit?

I can easily fit my trailer tongue, which is 4x3 inches. Your 3" trailer should be able to handle this.

This stand will be able to support a 30' Baja boat, will it be adequate for this boat size? There are 5600 pounds of dry weight in the shipment. ?

I used it to float on a jetski, so I would imagine it would be too lightweight

That was exactly what I was looking for
4/5

My Malone Low Max Kayak trailer is equipped with one of these. The Hobie Outback 2020 I have is a 2020. It is not my fault that the crossbars were not installed. In order to lower it, I put bunker boards on it. Thus, I had to remove the top piece of the winch stand fully in order to drop it. Fits like a glove. This winch is built very well, and if I needed a smaller one, it would work fine. The small one would also work well. I won't have any problems in the An individual review mentioned that the stand broke and the boat was damaged due to his boat bouncing all over. This is not what they are for, will you. With this, your boat is kept firmly in place on your trailer, preventing it from slipping off. He may have not tacked the boat down properly to the trailer or had suspension problems that were causing it to bounce.

The product was stronger than expected, and the customer service was outstanding
5/5

I installed it on the trailer only to find that the base was too short, so I made contact and they sped up the delivery. It took four days for a new base to be built. I was exchanged for a different one. As for the two-hour delay, I was a little worried When I ordered the parts, they were in a five-piece assembly. Then I realized I was misled. To secure the post to the trailer, I attached it to the frame. I tightened down the bolts on the top piece to the base, and now the whole thing does not move the slightest, even when I use the winch to pull the boat aft Due to the fact that the bolt is not required to go into the holes in the base, there is virtually no limit to the In addition, the safety chain retainer is located on the base, so even if a problem were to arise with the top piece, the safety chain would still be deployed Overall, this panel is solid as a tank when tightened, it has a great price, it is easy to install, and it has some of the best customer service I have ever encountered.

I did not like it and damaged my bow as a result
3/5

In my case, I only got one trip out of it. I was also skeptical about its durability. Putting this garbage in the driveway should never have led me out of the driveway into my driveway. I noticed something was different about the way my boat bounced while on my trailer when I was trailering it on my first trip after installation. Once I parked the truck, I discovered the two arms that hold the rubber stopper were bent, the rubber stopper that holds the bow was gone, and those two arms had gouged my boat's bow. My bow is completely damaged as a result. I spent more money to fix the fiber glass on my boat than I did to buy this garbage product. * As well, the nut that you have to tighten in order to adjust height does not fit properly when tightened at any point. By the way, in case you're wondering. No, my boat did not weigh too much to use this product. It was even lighter than my first boat.

I needed a boat latch to secure my boat, and this was perfect
5/5

To fit my boat trailer frame with a 4" inch width, I purchased this. For the front of the boat, I needed something with a handle that was lower than the rest. You used to bring in the old one by hitting the handle against the bow of the boat. I like the way this works out. The construction is of a very high quality. I was able to line up my winch perfectly in the holes. A happier outcome would have made me more satisfied.

There are no corners to cut! 125 is too much to get one of these made and galvanized, where I worked for 12 years in metal fabrication
5/5

My total payment included shipping and is $ 00. These are cut out using a burnout table which is built like a fancy torch, however, you are left with very sharp and jagged burrs and should have a drimmel on hand to remove these. It is a beast on the outside and works perfectly on the inside,.

I really like how it turned out
5/5

Despite a few minor defects, the item was otherwise in good condition. Due to the location of the winch bolt holes, my existing winch was unable to fit in there. After I drilled a single hole in the right place (between the existing two holes), I was able to access my existing winch and complete its installation. Two problems were encountered. The washers supplied with the U-shaped tube did not fit the tube Since the welds on the base were too large, bolts did not work on the base. To change to smaller washers, I needed to reduce the diameter of the holes. On the u-bolts, I replaced the screws with nylock nuts It was possible to replace the bolts with lock washers, but bolts were preferred. It is of excellent quality in general.

The small boat version of this product is great
4/5

My boat is a 14' aluminum fishing boat, which required a new trailer to be built. This was a great fit. The mounting plate has a tab that can be used on the bottom, and the height can be adjusted. There are only two drawbacks the holes for the wrench don't line up, and the roller bumper is pinned into place, so you will have to drill one hole, pop the cap off, and get bolt washers and a nut to attach it. Other than the two drawbacks, this is a great product.

Did you find the price to be reasonable? There was a crooked one in the package
3/5

Although I had a hard time aligning it, it still works. Additionally, it was a bit short. I tried having a local metal shop extend it to three inches instead of two because the base's size was unusually large. It's a total of five times two. Regardless, I was able to get it to work. I would recommend it to anyone, but the price was too high. It would be hard to watch Macgyver as a child unless you watched it like me.
