A 4 is the size of this tire. 80- 8 The measurements you see are the shipping box's dimensions.
This listing is only for the tire; the rim is not included.
For that question, you should visit the Carlisle website or call them.
The "B" rating applies to this tire. I'm not sure how fast it goes; I assumed this was the tire's overall strength and load range, as it has been fine on the freeway at 65 mph for hundreds of miles since it was installed on our trailer. Only in the Phoenix area do we use it. This is a tire I strongly recommend.

br>I bought these tires to replace the ones on my small boat trailer that had worn out. (I put them in my wheelbarrow to save them. ) br>There are four thread channels, two of which are significantly deeper than the other two. br>There are no wear bars to speak of. br>I installed them myself today, but I use special pry bars designed for mounting and unmounting small diameter tires. br>Only time (miles) will tell whether or not this is a good product (hence the three stars). br>After a couple of fishing trips, I'll update the review.
Replace the cheap tires that came with your utility cart with these. This cart was not intended for use on the road, and the tires were extremely thin. These tires are a lot better and have a lot more thickness to them. I replaced the tubes with new ones because that's how the originals were. Mounting was a little difficult, but I warmed them up by leaving them out in the sun for an hour or so. Apply a generous amount of liquid dish soap to the tire bead and rim. After getting the tire started on the rim, I secured it in a vise to keep it in place while I finished the rest with a large screwdriver. After that, things got a lot easier. When I used a tube, I had to be careful not to pinch it.
Tires are an excellent replacement for my log splitter's weather-worn tires. I installed tubes to make the rims more durable and to hold air better due to rim rust. br>I had to grind off the welding spauls to prevent the tubes from being punctured by the spauls. br>I recommend feeling the inside of the rims. When installing tubes, the process should be as smooth as possible. The tubes will fail if this is not done.
The tires were identical to the ones that came with the car. The older ones were simply that their tread looked good, but I understand that age can be a problem that some people are unaware of. My boat trailer is now free of worry. When I removed the old ones, there were dry rot cracks that you wouldn't notice.

It's a pain to put together, but that's due to the size (4. 80 - 8), not the tire, which is made in China but appears to be of good rubber quality. In contrast to what another reviewer claimed, the tire DOES have tread wear indicators (labeled as TWI on the sidewall near the tread), as well as the DOT number and coded date of manufacture. Only time will tell, but it appears that this tire is of higher quality than the one it replaced.
I ordered three tires to replace my dry-rotted trailer tires, as well as two axle tires and a spare. With a manual tire changer, you can easily install the tires on the rims.
00 for a brand new tire? Isn't that odd? Also available in CARLISLE name brand! I've had a 4 foot x 7 foot flatbed trailer since 2012, which I built myself. I just put new CARLISLE tires on it, and I'm confident I'll get another 8 miles out of it. They've been in business for ten years! AWESOME VALUE FOR MONEY! Thank you so much, Amazon!.
