Because it appeared to be made in the United States, I purchased this bearing kit. However, the brand owner's deceptive statements in the product description duped me. Wuxi XiKe Bearings Co. may in fact be distributed by Xike Bearing USA, a US license holder. , Ltd. originating in China The letters "US" are stamped on the edge of the bearing alongside the bearing number. There is no mention of made in the United States or made in China anywhere on the packaging. The kit comes with a box and parts that are well-wrapped. That is all there is to it. I'm going to put them in regardless because it's summer and I want to use my boat. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise, and that they won't catch fire or cause too much noise, but I'm not holding my breath. After I install them and use them for a while, I'll update them.
On my tandem axle trailer, I replaced bearings but failed to properly tighten one of the hubs. I discovered the problem was the wobbling hub after a 12-hour trip and finally throwing a bearing cap. I disassembled everything to inspect for damage, and the bearings, race, and spindle were all in perfect condition: There will be no harm! This could have been a disaster, leaving us stranded on the side of the road if we hadn't used good bearings. I repacked the bearings, replaced the inner grease seal, and assembled everything again as follows: This time it's right!! This is an excellent item.
In terms of packaging and appearance, these bearings lived up to my expectations. I'd make another purchase. The quality of their construction will be determined over time. Mine didn't have a label indicating where they came from.
The numbers L68149 and L44649 are stamped on my old bearings. I bought these because I assumed they'd be the same size. Not at all. These bearings are larger than the previous ones.
These bearings appear to be of decent quality and fit well. The seals are also well-fitting and feature two sealing lips for extra security. I also recommend them because they are a very comprehensive kit.
I just replaced everything on an old trailer I had and it's back on the road!.
My Karavan boat trailer is a perfect match. All of the bearings, races, and grease seals are in perfect working order.
Everything was in good working order and fit my trailer perfectly. This was an excellent option for new trailer bearings for the money.
