It's very easy, but I don't believe it's that complicated. Make sure you do not chuck out the foam pieces that go inside if you do not use them

Among the pros It looks good, stays still and is easy to use Quite, but cons I had a hard time using the key (which is stuck flat, very tight) the unit was hard to separate, but if you pulled down from the short side the unit separated much easier than any other way. Be prepared to fight Items which should be priced a bit lower or at least around $25 are not for me, for the price I dislike the item.

A lock with the most I have bought a lock similar to this without a foam insert in the past it had a separate padlock instead of a built-in It's really noisy out there! It would have been smart to purchase one like this at the time

You should be able to deter all potential thieves except somebody who is truly determined to take You get a lot of peace of mind for the price. One thing I don't like about it is that it takes some effort to install. In order for the lock mechanism to work correctly, it needs to match up with the stud it fits over, and this is not as simple as it seems.

Quite a feat. It makes me so sad. The lock was always faulty, but it was a good design. Despite my best efforts, I was not able to open it. I tried Teflon spray to see if that would help, but it did not help. I strongly advise you not to The review I read said the same thing I'm saying now. I should have listened to it.

The lock is a good value for the price

A lock like this is installed on a four-stroke 6 HP Johnson engine on my Gheenoe, and I have never had a problem with theft with it. I added foam to the inside of the lock to reduce rattles since I may need to add more foam in the future. It is best to lubricate the key slot well, especially with Teflon lubricant. This is done in salt water to prevent corrosion and make entry easier.
