There is a way to tell for sure if it fits both the 9 and 40 by going to Troglod's website and getting a model number. Seeing the sights is my favorite thing to do. Having a smith install the sight is worth the $20. I did it myself, but a smith has access to "just the right" tools to do so. Thanks for reading and I hope they are enjoyable to you.
There is no way that I can tell you where you would get fiber optic or tritium It is not easily accessible since tritium is rare. It would not be a good idea to try it. The sights are not that expensive, so I don't think it would merit your time.

They have reached three now. It's a great place to see. The first one I bought was for my latest duty pistol, a full size Springfield XDm, and after two weeks of firearms training, I felt they were dependable enough to carry with the rest of my carry collection. The gear they use is exceptionally well built, and it's been used during some months of patrol duty. In the time since then, I have installed additional sets on a compact XDM and a Smith & Wesson It is a shield made by Wesson. The lights are highly visible during day light, and they are bright enough when necessary in low light conditions, without being excessive. Definitely will buy again. I would buy them again and have already purchased them.
Previously, I reviewed this review below. Here's an update. My rating now stands at one star since in addition to the issues listed here, the front sight is not at a perfect 90 degree angle to the base, rather it is In lieu of asking that a third set be sent, I'm going to just buy another brand. I will not buy these products I received a first set that was defective the front sight was broken, it had no tritium, and the second set did not work at all. I received excellent service on behalf of Amazon customer service, as I was able to replace the items with Though installation was a little more difficult (I've installed dozens of sights), the program is quite fantastic. In the dark, the tritium in the front sight is very weak. These sights are pretty much the same as the ones on my CZ 75 Compact PCR and I compared them with these. It is relatively expensive to add fiber optic sights to these pistols, I have other brands of night sights that work better in darkness and I do not think the extra expense is justified. I will be changing them within the next few weeks since I do not recommend these. On the CZ, Night Sights are much more difficult to find, so I don't think I'll put them into the default. Live and learn I suppose.
Having purchased Tru Glo for several of my other weapons, I assumed that the same quality would be present in these products. The fiber optic portion is working, and I had them installed by a gunsmith (50 bucks). The tritum does not glow in the front sight of the sights as it does in the rears. I was disturbed when I got home and tested it out on the sights in a dark room. In regard to the warranty, I will be contacting Tru glo. In the dark, the front sight is nonexistent as can be seen in the attached images. I am very disappointed with the results.

The sights were swapped out and new sights were put in with an alum with the help of a bench vise and rubber over clamps. IMMEDIATELY follow up with another punch. My tactic was to always be the friend your buddies turned to when they needed a gun. In order to freeze it, I took the slide from the frame and placed it in my freezer for 45 minutes. What's the reason? When metal is cold, it constricts! We had a lot less trouble removing both the dove and the front sight! As I said, I am not a gunsmith but this has worked and I have saved thousands of dollars in the process!.
It was a real challenge to install the rear sight In preparation for installation, I cleaned and lubricated everything, and tapped it in 90% of the way - it took a few solid hits to do so. The reinstallation was a lot easier, but I had to fight my way out of my own spit several times in order to get it done -- This was probably my fault for not using brass punches, but I think that would have badly mangled the pieces as well. I have experience with Trijicon, Novak, Meprolight, and various factory night sights on various weapons, and I like these the most. Then, we can add them to our M&E system In the case of the P series, it's recommended that the installation of sights is carried out by a gunsmith, since they usually have the proper tools available. Using these sights as a comparison of the 2008 and 2015 M&O I spent a lot of time working to get in and out of rear sight dovetail on P 9. There is no problem with the Glock variants.
A set of Truglo sights, and a set of TFX sights were my fourth and second sets respectively. Although I have used many sights, these are my favorite, but I did have a problem in the past with how tight these sights fit. I found this set to be easier to put on than any other. It was quite easy to install, though I am not quite sure why. There is no sight pusher or hammer for me, but I use a padded punch. There has only been one issue with one set of sights so far. Several years and thousands of rounds later, the fiber optic/tritium cylinder on the front of the rifle came loose. While it did not fall out completely, it was on the verge of doing My shooting session for the day ended at 400 pm, so I cleaned my pistol and utilized Loctite to fix my malfunction.
This is a very impressive site. The install was a bit challenging, but it probably has to do with the fact that I didn't have The best way to install them would be to use a sight pusher or to have a smith do it for you. Even when there is little light, Fiber Optics are able to collect a ton of light. Despite its lack of illumination, the Tritium is bright enough to pick up in low light and darkness. For day shooting, a white ring will do just fine. It has been a wonderful purchase for me.
