The type of mounting system required for this scope is determined by the type of rifle on which it will be mounted. The VX-series from Leupold is a high-performance scope that can be used 5HD 3- The maintube on the 15x44mm is 30mm, so any rings you buy should be 30mm as well, but the bases you'll need will be determined by the rifle. Leupold manufactures mounts for nearly every scope and rifle combination on the market, allowing you to feel completely confident in your setup.

The VX-series from Leupold is a high-performance scope that can be used 5HD 3- The windage and elevation travel on the 15x44mm scope is 75 MOA. The CDS system does not change this, but when you get your custom dial made to match the ballistics of your firearm and ammo, those custom ballistics will have an impact on how much travel a single revolution of the CDS dial will provide you.

I have several Leupold VX6 scopes, but this VX5 provides the clarity and sharpness that I require. Has a power range of 3 15X was exactly what I needed. Leupold also offers a fantastic warranty, as well as a wide range of products, excellent service, and clear communication.
I wasn't convinced by Leupold's marketing hype. Their lower-cost scopes are comparable to those of other brands, but this one outperforms the majority of those in classes above it. This isn't the last time I'm going to do something like this.
I've only tested it out to a distance of 100 yards, but the glass is bright and clear, and it holds zero with ease. Simply select that range by pointing and clicking. Because my buddy's rifle had a cheaper scope, we used my scope to spot his shots. br>br>At 0, the turrets have a pleasant tactile click. Each MOA is worth $25. It has a side parallax adjustment, which prevents the reticle from shifting across the target when your head moves. Simply adjust the eyepiece for clarity against the sky before adjusting the parallax for target distance. The reticle is exactly how I want it. br>br> There isn't much going on. On the horizontal, it only has hashes. That is to say, I set the dial for elevation and hold it for wind.
The optics are crystal clear, and the zero lock is well-designed. The firedot has a ridiculous button system. Turns on and off too slowly, is prone to errors, and necessitates precise battery housing screw tension.
This scope is ideal for hunting. There's no better way to go with a hunting rifle. It maintains its zero value. Returns to zero after a reliable track. It's also rock-solid. Not to mention the flawless clarity of the glass. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.

5HD 3- The 15x44mm riflescope is, without a doubt, the best scope in this caliber for the money, and it comes with a lifetime warranty! I mounted it on my Browning X-Mas rifle. 300 watts per square meter (WSM) Bolt In comparison to my previous Vortex Viper and Nikon Pro Staff 5, performance at the range was the best I've ever seen. In the dimming evening light, Twilight Max and HD Glass helped me see the 100-yard targets as clearly as day. The variable illumination settings on the Firedot Duplex reticle allowed me to get on target quickly, and it looks great and performs exactly as advertised! It arrived in a timely manner and was brand new right out of the box. I used Medium 30mm Browning Rings for this setup, which fit perfectly with my sight height of 1. 52". The low rings may have been hitting the barrel, and the high rings would have necessitated the purchase of a stock cheek pad. I am an OVERWHELMINGLY SATISFACTORY CUSTOMER!.
Even in the middle of the day on low, the dot makes the reticle much easier to track and keep on target; I'm sure it'll come in handy when hunting in low light. I'm very pleased with my purchase; Leupold glass never disappoints! br>Shipping was promptbr>br>For those interested, I mounted it on a Hells Canyon Speed 300WM with Browning/Talley XBolt low rings, which provided ample clearance for the 44mm obj lens. br>br>My only beef with Leupold is that you spend $1000 on optics and all you get are bikini lens covers, with no neoprene cover included in the box.
