The vent rib barrels are available for hunting as well as trapping and skeet shooting. I own three of them on three different shotguns. Unless you have a vent rib or a flat mounting surface it is unlikely that the sight will stay in place without those features. This is a good quality product. It has a steel housing that ensures the light pipe will remain safe. Regardless of the light settings, shooting styles, or preferences, all 6 light pipes fit well, remain in place, and are ideal for different shooting situations. If you want to use a shotgun sight at the vent rib, this is what I recommend.
I have both versions in the photo as you can see. Although both are very effective, I prefer this version a little bit more.
This is an easy-to-install product. The kit includes screws for different shotguns, though I am not confident that a single screw will keep it from turning, so I also used superglue and did not trust it at all. Things seem to be running smoothly.
I appreciate the way it comes with a holder for digital media and contacts. The sight is made well and it is well protected. I also love how it comes with a holder for the other colors and that the removal tool is built in. The Remington Versa Max and 870 were both equipped with this item.
As well as the color choices, there is a nice touch.
Spectacular little red is what's needed to replace the factory red on my Benelli SBE3 because the factory red didn't catch As awesome as this new green one is, I just wish I had done it sooner, but it's still a great choice.
A great deal of It can be mounted easily. With the tool you can change out the light pipes to accommodate different lighting situations. I am very satisfied with my purchase. This is a great product. With this, you will be able to perform better in low light if you are shooting with old brass beads.
