One of the BEST parts of it is that it fits my Springfield XD 9 subframe perfectly The mod 2 pistol is compact. (The mod 1 XD will also fit. A green laser from ADE is also in my possession It's the only version of the XD 40 I have The packaging is compact as well. set up as follows The light is to the left. 1 press means bright, 2 presses mean bright strobe, 3 presses mean dim, 4 presses mean As I use my stabilizing hand's thumb (left), I turn on the light. In terms of ergonomics, it is in a good spot Pressing one button to activate the green laser means it is solid, and pressing two buttons to activate it is in strobe mode. Press three times and the switch will be By pressing the trigger finger (right) on the laser, I can easily adjust its direction. Considering that it costs less than $70, it seems like a great value. Accessories were the only ones that were junk from the start- This is a An envelope. There is nothing wrong with this ADE. In my opinion, the following are the only potential downsides It will not fit in my holster since it has a light. (The laser was not usable with this product, however There is only one version that fits). I do not care about the holster since I will be using it for home defense. I am only able to order this one version, which fits and draws very well Both are worth it, in my opinion. 2) Preface There is obviously less light than if the bulb were 500 lumens. The light is definitely bright enough for me to light up the hallway and interfere with a target's vision (especially if you use the strobe). I don't have to carry a separate light or a very bright light on my pistol anymore. It fits my needs perfectly, and is a good price. I prefer the battery version to the rechargeable since I don't have to leave it out to charge or have to take the light off to charge. It is easy to replace a battery.
In the end I went to the range after I installed the unit on my Taurus G2C. The target was moved out to 25' and the sights lined up, and a shot was fired, hitting the center of the It was obvious that the laser needed to be adjusted when it was turned on. Once it was adjusted to my firearms sights, I fired at the target, hit the center mass, re-aligned my shot, and the laser was now 18” to the right of center. I readjusted the laser back into alignment with the firearm and fired, but the laser was once again off target after realigning again. Multiple attempts to adjust this unit will not result in it keeping its alignment. In the hope of helping my uncle align his sights more accurately, and a laser would work to achieve that goal, I bought the unit for his home defense firearm. However, after seeing it in action, I realized that the laser alignment is going to throw off the alignment with each shot it makes. I will be sending this back and ordering from another retailer. Unlike some people, I do not carry on a business after the very first product fails I could just have been unlucky enough to have got that single bad unit from the batch, but since they produce firearms that can harm innocent people, I prefer a better display of reliability for my faith as a customer.
Taurus G2C should not be used with this. Taurus is advertised as a fit for this GPS device that does a good job. The gun fits nicely straight out of the box, and it fits tight and straight. However, the laser is not reliable when it comes to operation. When you first go to the range, the laser would start to loosen up a bit & It became looser and looser as the gun would fire, the more it would fly off the gun! In the end, it fell off the gun in both directions. After spending nearly $100, I am very disappointed with the results. If you have the Taurus G2, do not buy this.
The green laser is bright and so is the light! I haven't yet been to a range with it. I found the width of it to be very close to the gun's width, which I didn't find to be the case with the other ones I examined. This is a great deal if you want light and laser together! I'm glad I have it now.
Aluminum is an aircraft grade metal used exclusively in the construction of this product. It took no time at all to install. There are safety stops built into the rail of your pistol to keep the device It was only so that I could access the control buttons that I bypassed the safety stops. My Glock 19 gen 4, which fits perfectly, is the Glock 19. Range-sighting it or seeing it with a scope for that matter have not been available to me yet. It would seem to be the most logical feature to add to the game is a longer rail attachment.
For my Taurus PT111 G2 I need both a laser and a light! ADE gave me both the laser AND the light for my PT111 G2, because I was really missing having the light. I almost removed the laser just to have the light, but now I have both! This is not a cheap plastic piece. The fit is perfect and the construction is solid metal. On the right is the laser control, and on the left is the light control. The two controls on the console are quickly and easily controlled with a standard two-handed grip. A room can be made bright enough with just light in this device. Furthermore, the green laser is as bright as I have ever seen it. Thank you once again ADE for finding my Taurus, my search is over.
While I have mounted it on , it provides great visibility. It is a 40 cal glock 27 P80 build and I have used an ADE laser before, it did well, I haven't gone to the range yet to see how it holds up, but I am giving it 4 stars so far. The cons are now going to be discussed. I suggest they improve the button selection on the TLR6 like how the ADE has a press press method to activate the light or beam instead of using a programmable setting. If they incorporate that feature, this would be a superior budget accessory for compact.
My setup was very straight forward and the adjustments are very simple and work very well. I really like the fit and finish of the unit for the price.
