I'm no expert, but there are 12 "hooks" on the rim, and I had to use some force to get the net through each one. It appears to be fairly standard, and the internet appears to be of very high quality.
It is dependent on the hoop's size. This item is for a basketball hoop that is full size. Your best bet for a replacement for a little tikes hoop is to go to their website and search for replacement parts for the product you have.
Yes, but it's a VERY close fit. But once it's on, it's not going to come off. The swoosh sound is incredible, and the net is fantastic.
It fit perfectly in our 18" hoop, and I'm sure you could get it to fit and not look too big.

I bought six of these nets for a Florida covered school playground that gets a lot of use on a daily basis. The swish sound that these nets produce, as many reviewers have noted, is fantastic. In the category of swish sounds, I give it a ten out of ten. However, I am unable to give these nets a higher rating because the bottom hole has widened significantly, and a shot will frequently go in and fall right through the net without the appearance of the ball making contact with the net. The ball is thrown through the hole. Within four weeks of their installation, this began to happen. I have a feeling that in a few months, the net will be so wide that they will look foolish and refuse to do their job. A full-sized 29 is being used by the kids. These aren't just small basketballs flying through the air. They're a 5 inch ball.
I'm still waiting for my old one to break (it's getting close), and I don't like being caught fishing without a net on a beautiful day. However, this is far more substantial than anything I've seen in stores for the same price, and it reminds me of the ones I used to have in the 1970s. but I'm really looking forward to switching it out soon. br>Loops will not be an issue for me. Zip ties must be used first, followed by a 1/4-inch strip of black gorilla tape. Don't laugh; it's been working perfectly for many years.
Simple fix with a knot, but the net now looks a little strange (my kids don't seem to mind). I'd buy it again, but I'd inspect the net first, and if the "ends" appeared to be the same, I'd probably reinforce them with some gorilla glue.
I bought this net about a year ago and was very happy with it. I had a difficult time getting it on the rim because it was so thick, but I managed to do so eventually. Now, I've placed a second order for the same net, and the one I got is about half as thick as the first and much lighter in weight. I'm not sure what's going on with the quality at the moment.
The title of the item is accurate - This is a substantial piece of equipment. Pulling the thick loops through the hooks on my rim was a real challenge for me. I had to use a pair of pliers to pull it in on a few of them because they were so tight. It's not going anywhere any time soon. Because my hoop is a low-cost model, the hooks may be smaller than usual; others may have an easier time. Now that the installation is complete, I am very pleased with the extended length and how well it has held up to the elements. The kids like to hang on to it from time to time and enjoy the way the ball falls through.
Wow! A gleaming, brand-new net with a fantastic appearance! I'm looking forward to getting a new net to replace my ripped one. People, please don't do it! You should use your half-ripped-up net instead. When splashing the ball, this net allows for a great swish sound but does not hold the ball in place. You'll end up chasing the ball down the street if it slips through your fingers. The purpose of erecting a net is completely defeated. Spend a few extra dollars on a USA brand, or at the very least one that does the job. fail.
The product appears to be of high quality. The net is attached to the rim with a different cord than the rim string. I assume it's done to strengthen it, but the string is thicker, and I couldn't get it to fit on the rim, so I had to return it.
It's simple to put together and produces a fantastic swish sound. However, I don't see how a tape-held item can be considered heavy duty. I suppose what you pay for is what you get.
