Questions & Answers

What is the process for adjusting brightness on a computer screen?

Changing the brightness of the screen is not possible. The screen is a memory lcd panel that can clearly be read in bright sunlight.

When using the Forerunner 55, your time does not show on the display - This feature will not be available while tracking is in progress, so you won't be able to track your heart rate during exercise. Would you agree?

There is no truth to this. It is very likely that you can see your heart rate during a workout (and its zone). It is only inferred from the other answer that it was referring to the desire to see HR displayed on a workout watch face. There might have to be an app to do that. In addition to the multiple data screens during exercise, each activity type has multiple data displays. It is possible to customize what parameters are displayed on each data screen (HR, time, distance, pace, etc.).

What is the elevation gain on this watch?

There is no indication of it on the watch, but in the app you can see it if you are viewing a run or other activity

This watch is solid and of high quality
5/5

The battery life of this watch was a big selling point for me since my original Vivoactive lost battery life. Therefore, I acquired it as an upgrade from that watch. It was still 30% at the end of my first couple of weeks of running. I did two 5 mile runs during those two Another thing I like is the round shape, which I didn't expect to like. It's unusual for me to wear a watch this size. As far as size goes, it is not small per se, but it is also not as large as I am Size-wise, it appears to be just So far, I've only used it for running and biking, and it seems to be The suggested workouts feature has not been used by me. Seeing the notifications has a vibration and a light background is appealing to me. As soon as you get your hands on them, the buttons are pretty intuitive. Also, I moved quite a bit after I got this watch, and it got bumped around a little bit while I moved however, it looks like it has no significant damage. If you desire a lot of smartwatch functions, such as a microphone, touchscreen, or onboard music, then you shouldn't spend your money on this watch. When you want a watch that has good battery life, accurate GPS tracking, and accurate sleep, health, and heart rate tracking, this is the watch to choose. The choice I made here is one I would definitely repeat.

Performance is good for the price
4/5

Overall, it is a good buy. There is a bug in deleting notifications, as well as in adjusting the display brightness. A useful tool for tracking your steps and to pace yourself. It's great that the batteries last for two weeks.

This took the place of a Garmin 35 and had an excellent battery life
5/5

Although I don't stray too far from the basics, it is significantly enhanced. The battery life has been greatly improved, but the sleep tracking is worse than the 35, which was already bad. Running watch that works well, although if I want better data on sleep, I may need a Fit Bit instead.

4/5

I haven't had it long but, so far, I am happy with the product. It seems to be robust and works well. Since I haven't had time to figure out all the functions this watch is capable of, I haven't figured it all out yet.
