Product Description

This Multisport GPS Watch is powered by solar energy and has a 1.65 inch screen. Solar power helps prolong the life of the battery, allowing you to conduct off-grid activities longer on the Fenix 4 inches display (36% larger than previous models).
Pulse Ox and wrist heart rate estimation have been enhanced to support advanced sleep monitoring and altitude acclimatization (this is not a medical device and is not intended to be used for the diagnosis or monitoring of any health condition).
You will also receive environmental adjusted VO2 max and training status estimates as a part of the advanced training capabilities, which include PacePro for grade-adjusted pace guidance during your activity
With tips, ski maps for over 2,000 worldwide resorts, support for multiple global positioning satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo) and compass, gyroscope and barometric altimeter integrated, explore the outdoors.
You can use Garmin Pay contactless payments (not all countries and payment networks have this feature), store music with premium streaming (may require a subscription to a third-party music provider), and receive smart notifications.
When used in 50,000 lux conditions, the internal lithium battery provides up to 21 days of battery life in smart Watch mode, and 3 additional days when using solar charging4. Use GPS or smart watch mode for up to 15 hours, or solar charge for up to an additional hour.

Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if the 6x Pro Solar Black model is made of titanium, and if the screen is sapphire?

An item called Power Glass is used to create the screen. In this case, titanium is used as the bezel and fiber is used for the case With a stainless steel cover on the rear, the head is made out of reinforced polymer

Does Garmin's power glass compare favorably to sapphire and gorilla glass in terms of strength & scratch resistance?

It isn't quite as good as Sapphire. While the Power Glass and Gorilla glass appear slightly less reflective in direct sunlight, the Sapphire screen material proves superior to the others in terms of scratch resistance. I have also found that there is very little trade-off

Can you tell me which maps come with the Fenix 6x Pro? Can you only do it in North America, or can you do it everywhere?

It also has a basemap covering the rest of the world. The Fenix 6X Pro offers detailed topographic maps of North America. In addition to this map region, you can purchase and add other regions to your watch

What are your options for returning or exchanging the item?

You probably have 30 days to do it

There is nothing sustainable about solar power
3/5

As it turns out, I bought it mainly for the reason of solar power, and it turns out it isn't even anything more than a gimmick! In solar, the battery will not be charged it will simply be slowed down. I just don't think it is worth the price!.

The ability to get directions and read the time
3/5

When I first arrived, I noticed that half the watch face would disappear for a few seconds I found out that I was sold a European version when I called Garmin and read them my serial number, which means that I get VERY limited Map information where I live in the USA. Although I could not view the watch face half of the time, I was impressed with the HR functions and the timer on the watch. To have received something defective on such a short notice is quite disappointing. I opted to return my Garmin watch in favor of a different one after customer service offered to replace. The seller or Garmin products do not come off well with this situation. When it comes to Garmin, I am usually very pleased.

There are numerous measures of progress that are useful
3/5

Although the Garmin has a number of useful features that can make your workouts more enjoyable, the solar power isn't as good as you may think, especially when you're activated many of the features. have test the solar a few times to see what amount of charge it can provide. I have left it out a few times but only got one to two percentage points of charge up in Texas for about 6 1/2 hours. My Casio mudmaster watch can usually receive a 50 percent charge, but mine doesn't. If you are planning to use mapping features, you should bring a portable charger or charging block just in case. I believed the solar chip was too thin and would not provide enough charging. If Garmin wants to get a reasonable charge from solar power, they will need to upgrade the solar charging element.

Having real time feedback on your runs is very motivating
5/5

I selected the Fenix 6X PRO Solar to train towards ultrarunning and have the best battery life and tracking capabilities for long trail runs. It is also a great device I just haven't figured out how to get the most out of it in the gym for strength training yet, but I'm very pleased.

The software needs some work, but the hardware is great
3/5

The watch is a first Garmin product. I love the build quality and the hardware setup! This product seems to be durable, resistant to a wide range of environmental There are no comparisons to the features available. It's amazing how Garmin approaches software design for these features in such a weird way! It can be confusing to separate apps from activities, and even more so to find crossover points between the two. Getting access to day-to-day services In contrast, some activities that come with your smart watch are ready to go right out of the box, while others require some customization. My experience is that navigation is pretty tricky and involves an extra number of devices and lots of management in order to work correctly. However, sometimes it can still be completely inexplicable or even impossible to use. You could, for example, just have it use city roads for directions instead of pointing a direct line from point A to point For that you do not need a GPS watch! In order for Garmin to improve these common features, more needs to be done. As an alternative, if you're into golf for instance (which I'm not), this thing is probably pretty great right out of the box thanks to the highly developed activities and features for that activity. Although I've only had it for a few days and am still getting used to it, you can guess how I've been feeling. Hiking and mountaineering are two things I'd like to do with this. According to my assumptions, as with all modern electronics, there is some product management hedging going on in terms of priorities, and features will likely become more reliable and consistent as time goes on. Some users have complained that Garmin releases updates frequently, even though some are eager for their bug fixes to arrive soon. I'm happy with how it worked for now, but am looking forward to how it will work in a year's time.

Wear it to track your activity and it will be a great watch
4/5

In order to replace my old 3 I bought a 6 and I am very pleased with it. Garmin's environment gives me all the information I need and I love how easy it is to use. I probably have more than I can use. In addition to tracking my walks with the dog, I use the watch with a few sensors mostly for cycling. For me, the accuracy of all sensors is good enough, although I am not certain that it is always perfect. Spending more money is the only way I can get medical accuracy. There is only one drawback, and it is that the gesture backlight in normal use does not work. However, it still works in activity mode so it most likely has to do with software. It shouldn't happen for this price, but other than that I'm very happy with the purchase.

The quality of the watch is good
5/5

This watch was a gift to myself for Christmas, and I have started using it just a few weeks ago. During my review of the watch, I was quite impressed. There are many other measurements and GPS measurements that make this tool very accurate. As a result of exercising in the gym, my Apple Watch doesn't inadvertently activate any functions, which is one of the things I've enjoyed most about my Pebble. Aside from the price, the only problem I have with it is that the watch face background is only available in black or white. I wish there were other colors available. The purchase itself is satisfactory aside from that.

A detailed review of the device can be found here
5/5

There is a lot of detail in this watch. The majority of sports can be played here. It's a gimmick to use solar power. There is still no sign of power changing in my opinion. I left my watch outside in full sun while it was in power saving mode, but it did not do anything. I've tried turning off the power and leaving the watch in full sun, but no luck. The strength training I've been doing is quite impressive once I figured out how to use it. It is a pleasure to work with bike stuff. Things to do on a hiking trip are There is a need for a blood pressure monitor on the watch. Also, with strength training, it can only track one arm, which is weird when doing exercises involving just one arm. There is a little weakness with the solar charger, but that's to be A durable material. Connected to a cable, it charges quickly. No matter how big or little it is, I like it. I've owned a few watches before, but this one is the best. It is also a little costly. This would be really cool if all of the color bands came with it. My favorite feature of the quick fit technology is its ease of use. It is lightweight. As far as output is concerned, the HRM gives the same results as the strap, but the strap does not lag in As you can see from the graph, the watch is a little behind the strap. In spite of that, I am quite pleased.
