Although I haven't had that issue, I have been using the CooSpo android app. The cadence and speed functions of that app (which is free) remain linked to the app and appear to start immediately when I begin cycling. There is a page in the app where you can manage your bluetooth connections. A Polar heart monitor is also used by me. Polar is an app that allows you to track your location. I discovered that I must first connect the heart monitor to the Polar app before linking it to the Coospo app, or the polar app will not recognize it.
If the app brand does not have any limitations, the CooSpo Cadence Speed sensor can be used with any standard bluetooth connection support app.
You could do it, but it wouldn't be effective. The speed and cadence of two magnets are read by this sensor.
It will only work if you connect through Zwift rather than your phone (do not connect via Bluetooth until you open the app and connect through it, not through your phone settings).

It's been about two weeks since I got it, and it's been great so far. Today I rode in the rain for a short time, and the sensor and connection performed flawlessly. I used tape to keep the sensor and magnets from moving around too much, but it also comes with bands and zip ties. The cadence monitor was simple to set up, but the speed sensor was a little more finicky. The spoke magnet must be placed as close as possible to the sensor. I raised the speed sensor arm to allow me to lean the cadence sensor closer to the crank arm magnet (as shown in the photos). The Wahoo iPhone app works flawlessly with it. This is a fantastic value for money option. If you're on a budget and don't want to pay top dollar for other "brand names," consider this if you want something a little more compatible than the Magene speed/cadence sensor (which I bought two of and was disappointed to discover that it couldn't do both speed and cadence at the same time through any app) and don't want to pay top dollar for other "brand names. " After a few months of use, I'll come back and update, but so far, so good!.
Then we decided to try it again with my wife's bike. It did not work the second time. I couldn't get it to pick up both the speed and the cadence the first time in any direction. Only the cadence was picked up the second time around.
The CooSpoRide cycling app (for Android) communicated well with the combination cadence speed sensor, which was simple to install. The signal from my Polar heart rate monitor is picked up by the app, which was crucial for me. I've only had it for three days (on a stationary bicycle), so I can't speak to the device's or app's long-term durability.
I was successful in installing the speed/cadence hardware sensor (first photo). Okay, I'll read the instructions. The process of installation is similar to that of other bike computers I've set up. There are no instructions for pairing devices or apps. This Bluetooth device, unlike others I've paired, does not appear automatically. You must crank the pedals; after doing so, I was able to pair with the Zwift app (see second photo). It was strange to me that even after pairing in Zwift, it didn't appear on Bluetooth devices paired to my iPhone (third picture). In Zwift (fourth photo), I was able to ride.
I purchased this to replace a similar Garmin unit on which the battery cover had been lost. I've only had the CooSpo for a few days, but it was very simple to install and set up. My Wahoo Element was immediately linked to it. I'll have to wait and see how long the battery lasts, but so far I'm pleased with this device. The product's instructions were clear and concise. This device costs less than half as much as two WAHOO or GARMIN speed sensors. cadence.
I returned this device because it was difficult to install/calibrate on my bike; I had to angle the device to calibrate the pedal crank magnet, which resulted in an abnormal position for the speed arm. Furthermore, it does not work with my OpenRider App because I can only use the speed or cadence.
The product is in good working order and provides precise readings. Thank you — highly recommended, particularly when used in conjunction with the Coospo computer. Keep an eye out for updates as I continue to test on my long rides.
It works, but it's difficult to turn it back on when it goes stanby, and the manufacturer makes promises but doesn't deliver.
