It's probably a quarter-inch thicker. I'd say the spacing between lines where you write the score is 2" wide; mine had a scuff on one corner but I didn't feel like returning it. Cheap. Is a hard worker who knows what she's doing.
If you're referring to the yellow and black strip with numbers on it, that's a throw line that you place on the floor to ensure that you're standing at the proper distance from your dartboard.br>br>For steel tip darts, the throw line should be 7' 9". The dartboard should be 25" away from your face.

Give me a break. It looks great, and the sales information sounds great, but give me a break. Couldn't they just tell you it's a thin piece of cardboard with a veneer finish? br>The mounting screws are ten times the amount required; two thumb tacks would have sufficed. Also, a legal pad would have sufficed, if not improved, because you could have taken the game scores home with you. br>I didn't bother to open the package and attempted to return it, but instead received this; br>How can we rectify the situation? br>Detailsbr>This item is not eligible for returnbr>SEE RETURN POLICYbr>If you require additional assistance, please contact us," Don't bother, you're stuck with it. br>I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Maybe I just got a good one, but neither of those things apply to the one I got. br>br>There is a white sticker covering the piece of metal on the board; if you remove it, the pen adheres to it very well. It still worked, but it was a little less secure with that sticker on it. br>br>As for the ability to cleanly erase, I see no residue left behind when I erase the board; I just got it today, so maybe it will get dingy over time, but after playing a few games of cricket and erasing the scores, I think it will be fine. It appears to be in excellent condition. It's a good scoreboard for $12. br>br>.
I ordered a WHITE DRY ERASE board and received a BLACK CHALK board. I tried to return/exchange it for the white dry erase board I expected, but was told it couldn't be shipped back because it contained 'chemicals or gases' that weren't allowed to be shipped. REALLY?.
It was extremely inconvenient to deal with the chalk dust. I decided to give it a try because it was advertised as fitting most cabinets. The holes didn't line up perfectly with my cabinet, and the screws it came with were larger than the ones I had, but I was able to screw the top left in place. in the bottom right It's as snug as a bug in a rug. I've been using it for about a month and prefer it to the chalkboard; however, I would suggest getting another dry erase marker. Within 2 weeks, mine began to write like garbage. By the end of the month, she was no longer alive. The eraser, however, is another story. All of the boards are in good working order.
The pen writes and erases well, and we've used it a lot. There are no stains or smudges on the surface.
I'm disappointed that I paid $12 for something that looks like it could be found at a dollar store. br>Cheap cheap quality, came with an awkwardly glued piece of metal on the edge, but the marker had nothing magnetic on it, so it looks pretty unappealing. Will have to buy a new score board. br>br>.
They are fantastic!.
These bulletin boards are fantastic. We always had chalkboards, but they wore out quickly because we used them so much. The solution was to use whiteboards. The chalkboards will never be used again.
