First and foremost, this was supposed to arrive on Friday, but it arrived on Wednesday along with another item I had ordered. It's all right.
- Now, as previously stated, the Hitch Cover is made of solid metal and appears to be bulletproof at first glance. The Raiders shield (or your favorite team's shield) may or may not remain affixed. It's difficult to tell how the hitch plug's logo is attached. There can't be any fasteners; welds or glue must be used instead.
- I installed this on a 2016 F150 XLT SuperCrew and it fit perfectly in the receiver. Because the packaging specifies that it will fit a Standard 2" Receiver, your results may vary if you use it with something other than a standard 2" receiver. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) hitches or larger/smaller vehicles
- I'll update my review as I get more experience with it. I think it's a little pricey, but it's very good and well worth the money.
This thing is incredible! The logo medallion appears to be metal on a plastic housing, but it is actually all metal. This is one of the best hitch covers I've ever had; it's very sturdy and attractive. I've had a few of them myself. This was a fantastic option that was also NFL-licensed. This was an excellent purchase. Don't think twice about it; just do it.
It appears to be in good working order. It's well-made and long-lasting, but as you can see, it's not the right raiders logo, and certainly not the one advertised. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but I can't give it a positive review because it's not what I expected. I'll most likely return in order to obtain the correct Raiders logo.
The money spent on this item was well spent. This is made of metal and is extremely well constructed. For the quality of this item, I believe the price is very reasonable. You will need to purchase a pin, which I found on Amazon for $2.
This fit perfectly on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee and appears to be of good, long-lasting quality. This little detail adds a nice touch to any truck or SUV. It's simple to set up; all you need is a pin to keep it in place.
It's a great look, but it won't work on a Super Duty. Two-wheel drive is standard on the larger trucks. 1/2-inch hitch require the use of an adapter The shaft on the hitch cover is too short to insert the pin once the adapter is installed. It's too bad there isn't a longer shaft available.
This product had the potential to be great, but it arrived bent on one side, and the emblem isn't even attached to that side, so I'm guessing it'll fall off if I use it in bad weather. It was obvious that it was twisted. Very let down. I'd return it, but it'd be too much trouble. So there you have it.
