What is the procedure for resetting my password, if I have Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron?

I am pleased to inform you that this USB is compatible with your Dell Windows 7 laptop. You can find instructions for how to use it printed on the device.

My question is Does it work with UEFI systems? I've tried everything else, but does this product work with UEFI? When I opened Windows, a virus changed my password. How can I fix this?

You can use it on your system. There are instructions, so if you have problems you can check them out or contact our customer service.

My old gateway desktop runs Windows 8 and I want to upgrade it. There is no way for me to log in Could a new password be created with this method?

I believe it should be compatible with Windows 8, since it's advertised as such. Initially I was sceptical that it would work with so many versions of Windows, but I ended up having to unlock my Windows 10 PC in about 10 minutes on my own. Before beginning, read the instructions very carefully to ensure you understand how the procedure works.

Do you know if Server 2016 will work with this?

It is a mystery to me. This is the first time I have tried it on a Surface 3, but I was not able to verify it worked. I apologize for the inconvenience.

USB can be used to reset Windows password
3/5

The device is fine, but you must keep in mind that it only unlocks local user accounts. There is no way to unlock a Microsoft account with this method. Resetting the computer is the only way to retrieve your Microsoft user password if you've forgotten it. There should be a note about this in the description, but there isn't.

Despite all the odds, it actually worked! At First, I Was Skeptical
5/5

Now, I am a believer. A short version of this On a Lenovo 540 with Windows 7 and a forgotten password, which used to be on a corporate domain, this worked. The USB HDD was set ahead of the SSD hard drive (tab to boot in the startup menu, then hit enter - this interrupted the boot sequence - To restart with the USB provided by the supplier installed, select the USB HDD and press "+" to move it to the top, then F10 to save, and then exit to restart with it without using any password, then I was able to log into the laptop after restarting (remove the USB first!) and log in as the local administrator so I could upgrade the laptop to Windows 10 and start over. As a surprise, it worked like a charm. Here is a longer version of the article An old laptop that the company did not want back had been given to my wife by the company Windows 7 on a Lenovo 540. Our tech support guys told us to go find the old admin login since she forgot her password and they had no old admin login information - we were on our own to reclaim it. "There are a lot of free tools out there that can reset the password, and good luck", they said. The idea of freeware makes me nervous There are some outstanding pieces in this collection Several will encrypt your hard drive and attempt to extract ransom from you, but will still leave you with an encrypted hard drive. So, what should you At least I might be able to check reviews on Amazon if I found that I wasted my money if I couldn't return it, I could at least complain about I paid off, and it was ready to go straight.

Joe, being aware of the situation is half the battle

There is no need to use a Recovery CD to reset your password. During the past couple of years, I have spent over $300 on resetting it or getting it done by someone else. Pressing the return button and holding down the shift key is all there is to it. It's as easy as that to find out on YouTube! Almost everything is fixed on da thing by resetting the password or restoring it! If you need to do a factory reset, just make sure you have a hard drive you can save all your information to. Passwords can be reset without you having to do anything.

I was really impressed with how well it worked
5/5

A few years ago I had an old laptop running XP that had a handle and an administrator password that I had forgotten. As long as I followed the instructions and- A list of all user accounts with the ability to update passwords to my hearts content was available to me. Turned out that resetting passwords was extremely easy. (Well if you ignore the 2 hours I had spent on the internet trying to implement all the other Windows recommendations it didn't work. I was able to do my work in less than two minutes before I bought this beauty). That would have been amazing if I had bought this first!
I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but when something is as good as this,.

I had no luck getting this to boot up
3/5

When I tried to boot it on a laptop I was recovering, it would not boot. On the same computer, I was able to access the boot and configuration options of the USB flash drive. Unfortunately, this device never appeared as a boot device. I had another flash drive that was recognized by the It's not my forte, but I work with this stuff quite well as a retired SW engineer. I was eventually able to boot up using the CD of Trinity Rescue Kit, which allowed me to retrieve the administrator password for Windows 10. still want to use this product, I recommend you download the (free) alternative Although I had a concern that Trinity Rescue Kit's software might be too old to work with Windows 10, it worked perfectly.
I sent an email to the tech support email address. I sent them a message and their response was generic "press F2/F12" boilerplate, which indicates that they didn't even read it. In addition to this, I received a brief instruction sheet which highlights that COVID-related issues presented challenges Rather than shipping their usual*labelled USB sticks, they are giving away free ones. They might have made some mistake in the design of their new USB sticks. A USB stick must be bootable before it can be used It is the vendor's responsibility to make sure this is true.

This person should not be trusted
3/5

In spite of contacting Tech Support a number of times to assure me that files and data would not be erased, I tried this tool and while it did clear the password, it seemed that when the system powered on after this tool use there was no user area and only the desktop directory. The tool does something, and once that's done, Microsoft deletes, clears, disables, or does something else, and the files / directories are no longer accessible. A poor explanation of usage instructions was provided. On top of that, the USB is labeled as "EALINK", and at start the directory is labeled as "PCUnlocker. ". One can find 3 different unlock versions from the "PCUnlocker" company after searching on Google. My data may have just been taken by Amazon with this tool.

The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because they tried to assist me
3/5

We tried this product but it didn't work for us. allowed me to reset the password, but then repeatedly crashed with errors that said corrupted files. After I returned the products, I had to buy a new one since my computer was destroyed. The Customer Service was okay. I received a windows reset disk that did not work, so I had to return everything. Overall the instructions for this product are not readable because one quarter of a sheet of paper is cut in half but there are a few vague instructions.
