Questions & Answers

Do you have a product key COA license sticker you can stick on the computer with?

In order to apply the COA to the computer, the sleeve must be peeled off. Be VERY careful if you want to scratch it off. It also has a scratch off over the key. On the label and on the envelope, it appears that I accidentally wiped off a few characters To obtain them, we had to do some forensic work.

What happens if I install Windows 10 using the downloaded ISO from the microsoft website and then use the key from this CD?

Fortunately, I was able to use it.

It's time for me to switch out my motherboard. Would it be possible just to rewrite Is it possible to install the operating system to a formatted hard drive or do I need to do something else first?

Although the last answer is correct as well, you may want to contact Microsoft for proper operation after swapping out a new motherboard or processor. When you try to activate your OS, you will know if it doesn't work. The easiest way to activate Windows 10 is to do it yourself instead of waiting for it to try to activate automatically after sometime. You can have Microsoft call your many lines of numbers in order to activate your OS in case it does not activate. a time-consuming process, but I need to do it a few times a year when I upgrade my motherboard and solid state drives. The drivers can either be downloaded and installed after you have a copy of 10 installed on your system or you can even add an external hard drive to your main system and download and install the WIN 10 64 bit drivers from there. If your PC does not have a notebook, you should always install two hard drives.

Hey, I'm getting ready to build my own computer for the first time. Will this In order to install the OS, I will have to flash the BIOS. ?

We won't be able to accomplish that. I hope to avoid this in the future. See the last item in the product description? It says that. This Windows 10 OEM is designed to be pre-installed on the computer Installing on a new PC does not allow you to transfer the project to another machine. A white envelope will be included with your order. "Can you see that white envelope in the third graphic of this product? I received one that looked like that of a Win 7 OEM, and it didn't work.". In the following 4 months, Microsoft stepped in and messed up my main programs and refused to let me A copy of my review of Microsoft OEMs following the release of Windows 7 can be found here. * Be sure not to purchase an OEM Win 10 license if you will be using it for personal purposes. The following is based on my own personal right on the outer jacket that the OEM system is for resale only, and is not intended Microsoft OEMs are no longer designed to be installed on PCs for personal use, or to provide people with access to them for making their own PCs. Up until Microsoft's XP operating system, this could be done. As part of Windows 7, Microsoft gave OEM a whole new meaning. This version is only available for resale. It cannot be bought to use on your own computer. Rather than let consumers install Win 7, Microsoft has sold OEM licenses for the operating system, pocketed the money, and now not allowing them to do so on their own computers. If they planned to sell the OPK kit, it was only allowed if they were going to use it themselves. It's now even impossible to do that since the OPK "license" is no longer available to OEMs (even though Amazon is unloading them as fast as they can on the innocent buyers), so buyers of Win 7 OEMs are stuck with an extremely expensive $60 purchase price. This dollar coaster is a hoax! Eventually I fixed it after enduring six months of blue screens and system crashes, and seven! I've reinstalled several times to realize that Microsoft isn't going to let me use OEM on my own build as they used to for pre-existing systems Currently, Windows 7 is the only operating system available. It now applies to Win 10 as well since they moved the goal posts. It is therefore no surprise that you might start seeing blue screens and other inconveniences in the next few weeks. The OEM was not working at all, while the retail box was working perfectly, and it kept crashing right after the Microsoft activation that gave me a bona fide "Genuine Windows" certificate, but then started zipping up my programs again afterward. After the Activation, the degeneration begins, and one doesn't have to be a genius to figure out who is responsible. With the new meaning of OEM being added to Win 7 systems and beyond, you should expect it to also apply to Win 10. With more than 50 PCs made and some knowledge about OEMs, I understand what they are. I am saying what I am saying, so take my word for it. I wish you all the best. The new version of Windows 10 does not appeal to me. That's a bummer. I should add that the first attack on the system comes soon after the 90-day period You cannot get a refund or an exchange after a seven-day waiting period. You might as well reinstall and try to activate "Windows Genuine" as soon as possible before you are swarmed by attacks. As far as I can tell, Microsoft is being considerate in these matters. After it has gotten its money, it now wants to get its distributor's money back. As such, it apologises for its tardiness and waits four months before doing what Microsoft does best. The customers who ultimately contribute to its level of prosperity and coffers are to be screwed. Microsoft is the only way to do it. I hope you enjoy Windows 10. Enjoy your new operating system. you will be in the crosshairs of Microsoft's servers! The 90-day period begins on June 1.

I hate you! There was no doubt in my mind that this was a DEADLY SUBSTITUTE! I don't know
3/5

I was able to rectify my problem just four hours after writing the review below. I am amending this review to three stars from one because the vendor was very prompt in sorting out the A more professional presentation of the product was promised in the advertisement. If I had received it, I would have given this transaction five stars. This isn't right. I suggest not. That's really amazing! Buy this item at your own risk. As you can see from the picture, I've received a package. The Microsoft Support Center has not been able to assist in any way, other than expediting an appropriate copy for me without shipping charges. I still must wipe the SSD and do a clean install when it arrives. I am very happy to receive a machine that is so The only problem is that I have a feeling of being In regards to returns and refunds, Amazon has been fast in approving them.

It is probably not a genuine product
3/5

Like many others, I received an activation key that Windows reported as already being in use. As I was able to contact Microsoft support to get my system activated, it would not surprise me if something shady was going on given the number of users reporting bad keys here. You may be unaware that this product is not distributed by Amazon, even though it's not mentioned on the product page (I can see it only from my order page). It is Y&& that actually distributes the product Several pieces of feedback about bad keys have been received by the J Distribution, and all have been struck out by a note from Amazon saying "we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience". I'm not sure how providing duped keys could be a fulfillment issue, but wherever the underlying issue lies, Amazon is doing an astoundingly poor job to comply with that kind of standard Product with a low profile. Do not buy.

Make sure that you tread carefully with Full Authentication (there's an extra bit of work once installation is finished for a We would like to issue a In fact, the key arrived untouched and covered by the scratch and sniff covering when I received the advertised product
3/5

Thanks to the key code, I was able to install Windows 10 pro. But, and this is a big but, I was not able to authenticate with a key code once the operating system had been installed. After trying to authenticate the product by using the online method, I was told my product key had been used before. It was as if I called you a thief and a swindler! it seemed very unlikely that my product key had been used since it had arrived in pristine condition to receive it at his time of receipt, so I sought assistance from a customer service representative to see if I could fix the problem. Lottery tickets are not eligible for the draw). The fact that I had revealed the code first gave me some confidence that I was the first to reveal it, but I couldn't be certain whether the code had already been used by someone trying to 'fake' or guess a real key code who was just I was able to authenticate, so the story isn't over yet. To fully authenticate, you will have to put in some legwork on your end. The OS you use will be a bit 'nerfed' if you do not authenticate with Microsoft (MS). The MS customer support agent online (I believe you can also call) verified that my product key was indeed authentic and had never been used prior to my use. The rep then walked me through the process of essentially authenticating offline with the MS customer support representative. I figured it would take 30 minutes more than it did After 45 minutes of authenticating online with the Microsoft representative, I now have a full version of Windows 10 Pro installed for a fair price.

So tread carefully if you do not want the 30-day trial. To fully authenticate your copy of Windows 10 pro, a 45-minute chat with MS customer support is required.

This problem occurred when Windows could not be activated

As of now, we recommend that you do not purchase. In the case of Windows, the activation code provided with the disk would not work.

A fake was received
3/5

A key provided by the user could not be registered on the Home version installed. As I read some of the reviews and look at some of the photos I can definitely deduce that mine is a counterfeit CD. The CD and its packaging do not bear the Microsoft hologram. A CD needs to be returned. The next one I get is supposed to be the real I updated
From 2017 to The number 11*0 for two is a perfect match. Another DVD was sent to me after the RMA, this one too will allow me to install Windows 10 home only. There will be no acceptance of the key. To be sure it wasn't this one laptop, I did a fresh install on another OS, which turns out to be Windows 10 Home, NOT Windows 10 Professional. It is not possible to use a CD Key.

However, it is utterly unacceptable for Amazon to sell It is my responsibility to take care of the computer of this client
3/5

This item was ordered for a client along with a NUC from Intel. Only the UK English version of the DVD could be installed. In the end, there was no other option. Amazon is selling this garbage on its website, and it is totally unacceptable. I used a generic ISO from Microsoft and applied the key. It's possible that the computer of the client will go dead after a year because Microsoft rejects the key. In addition, it is unacceptable that Microsoft does not enforce its product sales policies. There is no vendor in a Brooklyn basement store selling disks that come from China selling this, it is sold by Amazon. My hands are dirty, so I think I should wash them. Having been a supplier of tech hardware and software for so long, I have lost faith in you. Edit
An additional client purchased one I have not yet received an activation email for. By the time I could scratch off the foil, it was already odd. On the tag was a key which was clearly visible and printed in multiple lines. Someone might know the number to call to report piracy by Microsoft. Last week, I installed a third copy of this for a client who had contacted us some time the week before. On this front, everything looks good. A key that worked was foil over. It's possible that Amazon has flushed its garbage out.

A product key has been blocked
3/5

I was told the Product Key was invalid and that it had been blocked along with other reviewers. A customer service representative enticed me to return it to Amazon after I communicated with "support" three times and called once. My life will never be the same after I lose these hours.
