This piece of 'junk' software is completely ineffective! It claims to let you use a photo of yourself. I imported a photo to the Photo Board to experiment with some design changes to the exterior front of my house, and it now appears in the right hand side of the Photo Board box (about 1/10 of my screen). My options are restricted to that 'Board' from there. I choose a stone design and it completely covers my image! Try using the landscape – find a file – start a new project – obtain a photograph of a house hidden behind a wire fence, and so on. Don't even bother attempting to design something. Why not use the video tutorial as a guide? "We're sorry, but this item is no longer available. " (404 Not Found)".

The entire program is not loaded. I discovered I didn't have a "Terrain Tab" after halfway through my project. br>As a result, I was unable to construct a building pad/driveway, as well as sidewalks. br>br>When I called the helpdesk, they told me that I needed to pay for the service in order to add the tab, which I declined and returned the product.

To operate this, I'll need a bachelor's degree in engineering. br>I'm still a couple of classes short of completing my degree. I'm at a loss as to how to use this software. It's a MASSIVE undertaking.

This program is extremely powerful and precisely what I needed. Although it is not the most recent version (6. ), it is a good starting point. It is extremely comprehensive (number 0 being the most recent), and I strongly recommend that: 1) All buyers are encouraged to use the tutorials that are provided; 2) Have your measurements ready to enter into the program when you start the design process, and 3) make a "draft" version of the project you want to make (like a kitchen) while watching the tutorials - don't worry about getting it perfect - while you're figuring out how to use the software! Because this is a CAD program, it can appear to be rigid and unforgiving. When you need them, the "undo" and "edit" elements come in handy.

You can construct walls and other structures, but you must construct the walls, floors, ceilings, roof, and other structures. space by space By any standard, this isn't a straightforward "build a house" project. Furthermore, you must specify which side of a wall is the exterior wall. To use this app, you'll need a lot of patience as well as a lot of memory.

The architecture of the program was difficult for me to grasp. This program, I'm sure, could be very beneficial if given enough time. I did find a much easier-to-understand CAD program, and I'm very pleased with the results. DesignCAD 2021 2D is now my preferred CAD software.

The computer kept shutting down and locking up. The interface is not user-friendly. Nothing was working properly, and I couldn't get the landscape items to work. It has been returned.

A) This isn't the version you'll see on HGTV. This is Virtual Architect; the box looks almost identical, so perhaps VA purchased it and ruined it? Anyway. My Windows 7 system won't let me install it. I got on the internet and followed the instructions. To give it due diligence, I installed some SQL server software and disabled some startup items. Nothing seemed to work. This is a complete waste of time. Spend a little more and get something useful.
