Is it possible to download to multiple devices at the same time?

Yes, you can install Home Designer on multiple computers, but it can only be active on one of them at a time. To switch between your computers, simply click "Help" and then "Switch Computers." Use the software's "Manage License" feature or your online Home Designer account to do so. Is it possible to build a garage and then apply for permits using the blueprints as a do-it-yourself project?

Whether you can submit your DWGs or not depends on your local regulating/building authority. Some jurisdictions require drawings from a registered engineer or architect, while others allow submission and will issue a permit to a DIY,er depending on the nature of the project. Generally okay as long as it meets certain requirements, such as it does not have a bathroom that would impact your sewer system, etc. The drawings will be produced by this program, and it is capable of doing so. However, I find it lacking in a number of areas. What you pay for is exactly what you get. For the price, it's adequate.

It's a fantastic entry-level program that's a lot of fun to do

This show has a strong addictive quality to it. I've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm not an expert; I simply enjoy experimenting with new ideas. I've drawn up a floor plan for my home and begun to work on the theory. For years, I've used a variety of programs to pursue various interests. I was able to pick up this program quickly. br>br>I had to send in my motherboard for repair, as well as upgrade my nvme drives. I reinstalled the program but was unable to use my key because it was still associated with my previous configuration. Customer service was extremely helpful in quickly resolving the problem. A+. I'm really enjoying it

I'm not going to lie and say learning is simple. I learned at the age of 76. It took me about 8 hours to get to the point where I could begin cruising. I have yet to add a second floor, and stairwells continue to perplex me. However, the most important point is that I am having a good time. I visited the website and downloaded a large number of free items. There are even more icons if you're willing to pay. I don't think it's necessary because I now have thousands of options. Every day, something new catches my attention. I'm excited to figure out what's going on on the second floor.

I've only recently begun using the program, but so far I've found the training and instructions to be excellent and not overly difficult to comprehend

I haven't tried printing or other procedures yet, but I expect them to work just as well. On my first day, I drew the outside of our house to scale, including some doors and windows, as well as a garage with a gable roof, three garage doors, cars in the garage, and cabinets.

It was a waste of money and time

It was a waste of money. It's a nightmare to use this program. You won't be able to go any higher than three levels. I'm not able to cut out floors for stairwells or two-story openings, so I'd like my money back.

Is it easy to use? Before buying this program, I read a lot of reviews

I'm not very tech savvy, so user friendliness was a concern for me. I'm not the type to read instructions before getting started, so I just loaded it up and started messing around. I did have to refer to the tutorials a couple of times, and my first design had incorrect dimensions; I was able to figure out many shortcuts on my own, however. I wouldn't say there's a lot of friendliness, but I'm not an architect, so it works for me.

You should expect a lot of restarts

This company and their products are great, but this program is a pain to use. I discovered that I can search the product catalog for a single item. When I try to search for a second item, the program freezes while it tries to find the partial term I've entered so far. Fortunately, a restart is quick and the files are uncorrupted. If you want to use anything other than the ribbon menu, it's just a pain.

It's extremely powerful, but there's a learning curve involved

The availability of training materials is what I found most impressive about this software. Not only is the functionality excellent, but the library of objects is enormous, and the video quality on the manufacturer's website is phenomenal. To use this software, however, you will need some training. But, on the other hand, what this software allows you to do is far from simple. Building a realistic roof with just a few mouse clicks, creating a material list for the room you designed, and so on, the software's power is astounding.

BEWARE OF THE BUYER! Before I bought this program, I watched the tutorial

I didn't realize until after I purchased it that the tutorial does not demonstrate how to use the Suite version, but rather the Professional and Architectural versions' features. The Suite software is extremely difficult to use and frustrating to navigate, especially without clear instructions.
