So far, I'm really enjoying it. It has a feature called Space Planning that allows you to arrange rooms in any way you want and have the program build the walls as close to your layout as possible. From there, it was just a matter of tweaking to get the desired effect, and I'm very pleased with the software.

Remodeling and expanding a 1940s home with the product. The training videos are extremely well-made and extremely useful in learning how to use this fantastic planning tool. I'm having a lot of fun learning the tool and making plans for our house that are meaningful to me. In my opinion, the answer is yes.

***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** Very user-friendly, with a good number of features for the price. This program is something I use for entertainment as well as to design houses and other structures. Budget-friendly; upgraded from a previous version via Chief Architect. For 3D views, I really like the new rendering engine. It'll take some practice to get the lighting just right, but once you do, it'll be a breeze. Follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in no time; I highly recommend this software. Five out of five stars. Thank you for reading my review and taking the time to do so. The app is extremely difficult to use and will aggravate you on a number of levels. If you buy new computers frequently, be prepared to contact them to unlock your license if you try to transfer it to a new machine; after the third time, they'll try to charge you extra to unlock the software you bought. br>br>When I first moved into my new home a few years ago, I drew up floor plans. Now it's time to remodel (and they want to charge me to install an app that hasn't been installed on my new laptop in years). There are better, easier, and less expensive options available. br>br>.

The software is excellent, but in order to truly customize the roofs, you must purchase the most recent version of the product. Unless you're willing to pay $500 for the software, this product isn't for you if you want to work on anything more than a very basic plan.

This has helped me with the design and construction of the following:
1. Renovation of a 120-year-old farmhouse, including electrical, roofing, and room layout at a level of detail that my contractor could refer, saving time and money.
2. A 150-year-old barn was transformed into a modern "she shed" for hobby purposes. Modifying the structure, as well as providing concrete pads and wiring, were all part of the project.
3. A 4500 square foot garage workshop design and plans. masonry, wiring, plumbing, and roofbr>br>In each case, this program is simple and easy to use, allowing the "pros" to complete the plan and the family to see the vision before it costs money. br>br>I wish there was an easier way to scan and incorporate plans from my architect so that I could have more independence in design critique when working with him, but I've loved this program since it was given to me as a Christmas present. br>br>I don't have any experience with tech support because I've never needed it. Because I am not a construction professional, I am unable to comment on its application at that level. It met all of my requirements, and my architect used the program's output as a starting point for his rendering of the addition to my home. I don't know what else to say! VALUE FOR MONEY!!.
