A friend of mine gave me this, and it says it's incompatible with her How can this be? Could you tell me why the system requirements aren't Can you tell me if an update is available?

On a newer computer you can get this program to run in compatibility mode by finding it in the Google search engine. You can turn it on with a few clicks of the mouse, however this will not work if you are running Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Are you able to use this on Windows ?

The answer is yes. Windows versions up to and including Windows 7.

I would like to run this game on my computer. Where can I find the download? Now I have Windows 10 and am feeling very sad for the little boy I just adopted. My computer is having problems! ?

Kids will love reading this rabbit book

A gift for my granddaughter, whose mother said it was a real help to her when she was a child. I got it to work on a laptop running Vista, though the package claimed that it would work with Windows 95/98
My granddaughter has been playing it nonstop for at least eight hours. In addition to counting, left versus right and some phonics, the program is useful in supporting lessons in a number of other subjects. The value of play is greater than that of lessons. Our current method is to reward students who successfully complete their lessons with it.

When the series was first released, it was perfect. I consider this the opposite growth of the Reader Rabbit product of the 80's/early 90's, and I don't like it at all. There was a perfect balance of game and education in the series many years ago. More and more pointless and irrelevant games are being played, and the actual reading is dwindling. It would be great for the Learning Company to do Reader Rabbit some justice someday.

On that basis alone, I give it a rating of 4 or 5. In contrast, I was saddened to discover that the setup process stuck an advertisement on my desktop (as well as my other Reader Rabbit programs). A shortcut was all that the unwelcome desktop icon was AOL executable files are found in the Programs folder, so I had to search there for them to delete them. Often, this sort of thing happens with free software you download from the Internet, but when you pay for a program, you do not expect it to want to infest your computer with adware. There is another problem with the fact that once a program has started running, there is no way to cancel it or shut it down before it terminates. Right or wrong, there is no such thing as right or wrong A Cancel button or anything of that sort could be added to a menu. It is annoying if you want to evaluate a program quickly. I had to use the Windows CTRL-Z key instead of the Windows ESC key. Alternate version - A DEL trick to shut it off in the middle of the process. However, aside from this, another flaw is that the program cannot be run directly from your computer's desktop as the install process does not put the entire disc on your hard drive. You must insert the CD or DVD into a drive before you can open the program. How about computers in 1980 when you had to make everything work with two floppy disks? Overall, it's a superb product for the child, but a pain in the behind for whoever manages the computer in the household.

A good time can be had with Reader Rabbit

Despite having a four-year-old on hand, he can do this on his own I am very impressed with this A variety of matching problems, problem solving games, time introductions, and more can be found here. Games and activities are part of the final activity that children have to complete in order to earn gear. As a result, they remain occupied and are able to work I am so happy for you. It is a pleasure to watch the Reader Rabbit programs, and this one is not an It's a pleasure to be with you.

The program will not run if you are running a later version of Windows

The program is no longer for sale, so why is it still available? The Windows 7 compatibility troubleshooter is supposed to fix the problem, so I purchased it expecting it to work. The answer is no. Cannot run for office. Have searched the Web for help in every possible place. That's fine. It is not a problem that it does not work, but why then is it for sale? There are no modern software programs that can There seem to be quite a few scams going on - To me, it seems like that. Spend less time troubleshooting and less time getting frustrated. Please DO NOT purchase this program if you do not have a real Windows 95 operating system. Yeah, I think so. Does that make sense? 95 Windows! It will be a total waste of money for you.
