My old brain got used to it pretty quickly and it was pretty simple to load and setup. As of now, I've moved every Excel file over to the new system. The fact that I don't have to PAY Microsoft for software every time I turn around, and don't miss their "updates", which mess up my files, makes me quite happy! I had two issues with the download. It took two attempts before it worked. Every few minutes, I lose the data that I entered after the last time I saved the spreadsheet, so I have to save my work every time I start a new one. I am not sure why this happens, but it happens every few minutes as I create a spreadsheet. challenge is that when the files I have created are saved, they don't go into "my documents" but rather stay in Open Office right under the program itself. When I try to attach any of my created files to email, my medical patient portals, etc. , nothing happens. I even tried saving my spreadsheet as a pdf file, but when I open it, there is nothing The file is not compatible with MS Office so I do not know how to make it compatible. How can I use or share these files if I cannot attach them or if I cannot share them with others? It is so great that this program comes on a disc that you can load on any computer! The cost is $13. How could you possibly be kidding me? You have to pay $150 per year to MS. You are limited to using just a few computers for the cloud version!.
