Honestly, this hide is probably a little too big for my ball python, but finding large hides in my area was proving difficult, so I went with it! It's so simple - I really like it. Cleaning is a breeze! It's also a hit with my snake. It's light weight, and she likes to move her hides around, so it's perfect for her. If you don't want it moved, I'd suggest putting some weight on it. It's big enough that you could put a water dish on top of it or bury it to make a makeshift cave out of it.

I've been using/keeping reptiles for years, and this style hide is by far the best. It's extremely simple to clean, which is, in my opinion, the most important feature! Of course, they're not natural looking, but because they're black and simple, they're easy to blend in if you want a natural, easy-to-clean look! br>br>Extremely durable I'm clumsy and drop things all the time lol I've broken a lot of bowls but only one of these. I can still use the one I broke. It's just a corner chip.

I really like it, and it's a lot bigger than I expected. It has a great feel to it and is very sturdy. It is also very easy to clean. However, one of the edge pieces came loose. It's only been about two weeks since I got it. I'm not sure what happened, but I'll need to replace it because the new edge is quite sharp and could harm our snake. Is it possible for me to sand it down and smooth it out? I reasoned that the high cost was justified. ness and the fact that it appears to be of good quality, it could easily last longer. br>br>If it didn't break, I'd give it five stars. That, however, is a star taker in my book.

It has a noxious odor to it. It's been two weeks since it was last seen outside. There will be no change no matter how much off gassing is done. I would have a headache every day if my bed was made of this. This is something I will not allow my children to be exposed to. It is my responsibility to make sure they are safe because I am keeping them in a confined space. This substance has a foul odor to it. Yuck!.

This is a big hit with my adult female ball python. It's on the cooler side of her tank, and I tweaked it a little. I constructed a wooden base and secured it in place. On top of that, I poured her some water. She was getting water all over herself because she balls herself up in the hide and can tilt it. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better hideout for her.

I bought a large and was certain she wouldn't fit when I saw it. In any case, I stuffed it inside the enclosure. When I got home from the store, she was curled up inside it, looking as happy as a clam. I believe the large is appropriate for her size, but an xl would be more roomy.
