Questions & Answers
Yes, for my harlequin crested gecko, I use a small amount of sphagnum moss.
I pressed the round disk against the coconut all the way down. The metal clip was taken out. I made a loop by wrapping the rope around itself. After that, I looped the loop around my cage's bamboo bars. It's been kept safe. I tried to add a picture, but it wouldn't let me upload it because the bamboo bar is adjustable and adheres to the glass with suction cups.

I thought this would be the ideal hideaway for my baby Whites tree frog's bioactive enclosure, and I was looking forward to putting it all together before he arrived tomorrow. However, when I tried to attach it, the coconut "top" came off, and the larger piece fell to the bottom, where my isopods were busy doing their thing. It's a good thing Kiwi hadn't been put in yet, because the weight of this could have caused serious injuries, if not death, to him. This needs to be completely redesigned in terms of security so that it does not fall apart and injure your beloved pets.
This is something that my crestie really enjoys. He sleeps in it or on top of it almost every day and plays with it at night, despite the fact that it took him a few days to get used to it. I made my own heavy-duty hook to attach to the top of the cage, and I've never had to worry about it falling and injuring him.
I enjoyed using it at first, but I noticed that my snakes didn't care for it (switched to a different hide and they spend their entire time in there). )br>br>After cleaning it, I placed it in my rats' cage. It's fairly simple to clean. My rats preferred it so much that I had to use treats to get them out when it came time to clean the hide. br>br>It only took a few days for the rope to pop off, and then it began to break, even after I decided to simply lay the hide in their cage rather than hang it. My snake weighs nearly 90 grams, while my rats weigh between 130 and 150 grams. They're 180g each, so they're a little heavier, but not by much. br>br>However, I don't regret my purchase because my rats had a good time in it for the few weeks they were there, and it was relatively inexpensive.
It looks nice, and it fit well from the screen when I had her in a 20-gallon tank, but now that she's in a larger tank, the hookup piece has broken through a piece of the screen, so I can't hang it any longer and have the coconut on the ground, which she doesn't get into, but she seems to be fine if I put her in it.
I didn't bring the ladder with me. It's also too big for a crested gecko to fit inside. Perhaps a bird or small rodent would be a better fit.
Used to make a terrarium for a crested gecko. The coconut is bigger than I expected, and the ladder isn't proportional to its size. You'll need to fiddle with the coconut's string a little to get it to hang and hand at the desired height. However, the product is durable and holds up well.
Our crested gecko enclosure has a super cute coconut hideaway. A moistened Sphagnum moss bed was added to help with shedding and to add humidity to the terrarium, as well as a medium sized coconut with a large opening. It's the perfect complement to our setup.
I got this one to put on top of her platform and hang the ladder down to her other coconut, effectively creating a double-decker. a two-story luxury apartment with a view of a coconut grove She took to it right away, and I believe the ladder aids in her mobility as well. One week in, and everything is going great!.
