What is the size of one bag in relation to how much tank space one bag occupies?

The size of your tank will determine how much food you need. The tank I have has a 20 or 25 gallon capacity and one bag will cover the whole thing that is about 1/4 up to 1/2

Could it just be calcium carbonate or would there be sand in there?

My guess is that it's just straight up sand. Not a single other thing

Taking care of our bearded dragon is easy with sand like this. By keeping the heat and humidity inside, it helps to keep things comfortable. In addition, it is easy to maintain, and it does not require as much replacement as other products. This is something I would recommend.

Does the job for my gecko. I am very happy with this product. Sand is not a good choice for juveniles and he is older then that. There are so many colors to choose from.
