These are much loved by my dog, who weighs 13 pounds. He uses these larger sticks for up to two days at a time, as opposed to thinner ones that he uses in an hour or two. They are still much better value in the long run, regardless of the additional cost. I like the thickness of the paper and when I re-read it It has never been the case with other brands that the items are the same quality and size. Similar to small cigars in size, they are fairly uniform in size. The smell is not strong. My experience with several brands suggests that these will be the only ones I'll use after spending money on very small sticks that also smelled awful.
