Questions & Answers

Please respond, whether you're a seller or a nutro. Is it true that these are made in the United States?

As a dog trainer and retired veterinary technician who was and still is passionate about dog nutrition, I feel a little duped. I, or rather, my German Shepherd Dog, adores these treats, and I admit that I didn't read the package carefully enough. I am really, really irritated by packaging that shows the USA or other illustrations that make one believe they are 100% made/ingredients in the USA. These treats are "Made in the USA from Quality Ingredients from Around the World," according to Nutro. So, what exactly does THAT imply? We don't know, to be honest. Could they at the very least list the countries from which these treats' ingredients are imported? MADE IN THE UNITED STATES WITH IMPORTED INGREDIENTS leaves the door open for importing CHINESE INGREDIENTS. What's going to keep them from achieving their goals? They're supplying information to the purchaser. Some people may recall the 2007 melamine poisoning dog treat recall. Me? For the time being, I'm putting my faith in Nutro, which appears to be a wonderful treat. However, those of us who insist on buying the best of the best eventually come to trust these businesses because our pets enjoy these treats. Should we settle for that when there are treats that are entirely made in the United States and contain only American ingredients? I'd like to hear from Nutro about these delicious-smelling, dog-friendly treats, as well.

Isn't chicken meal the third ingredient? What evidence do you have that this product contains no chicken by-products?

The one respondent here is providing incorrect information by failing to distinguish between "chicken meal" and "poultry by-products." meal made from the product "Poultry By-Products" is a phrase used in the poultry industry By definition, "Product Meal" is a rendered version of the preceding ingredient that may also contain feathers, heads, feet, undeveloped eggs, intestines, or whole carcasses from slaughtered or 4-legged animals. Animals starting with the letter D It'll be listed as species- on the label. precise (i.e. Turkey, by the way meal made from products; or as a generic term: By-Products for Poultry Meal made from products. manufactured in the United States of America?

Miami, Oklahoma is a small town in the state of Oklahoma's northeast corner. There's a dog food plant on the property. Any product bearing the phrase "Made in the USA" should be viewed with caution. Nutro has proven to be a fantastic company with excellent products. Give your dog Chinese dog food, or at least try to give it to him. My dog sniffs it, gives me a sidelong glance, and then walks away. My Boston Terrier, who is 14 years old, is in excellent health. She's lived her entire life on Nutro dog food and treats, and she shows no signs of slowing down.

Is it safe for puppies to eat these?

I started my puppy on them and haven't had any issues since. I gave him an apple, blueberry, and carrot, but no peanut butter, to avoid a "runny" problem. They're ideal for training because of their small size and the triangle shape, which makes it easier to hold and only allow them to bite a small portion. Now that he's older, I've kept buying them because both of my Golden Retrievers enjoy them.

Small solid treats with a satisfying crunch that will motivate your dog
5/5

These are great treats to use as rewards or as "distraction therapy" when you need your dog to do something he doesn't want to do otherwise. That means carrying my arthritic yellow lab, who is 12 years old, up the stairs. They're a little slick, but he can manage them when he's not thinking about it. As we approach the stairwell, I use the treats to divert his attention away from the stairwell. It works well most of the time. br>br>The treats are small enough to not add too many calories to your dog's diet, but substantial enough to satisfy his desire for crunch. They ship well as well, and unlike some other small crunchy snacks, the bag is nearly intact when it arrives. I've tried them, and they taste like plain cookies to me. When you open them up, you can smell the fruity flavors.

These apple treats are a big hit with all five of my dogs. Instead of the icky fake meat smell that some treats have, they have a pleasant apple scent. There will be no mess. When enticed with these treats, all of the dogs are highly motivated to perform tricks or obey training commands. They're the perfect size, not too big to cause weight gain but still a nice reward for my dogs. They're a good price for the amount of treats you get, and this is the only kind I'll buy for them now. The customer is pleased, and the dogs are pleased as well.

Based on the reviews, this film is a huge disappointment
3/5

According to the reviews, I ordered the blueberry type of treat because I thought it would be good for my seven dogs and tasty. My dogs adore snack time, and because they need to gain weight, I feed them snacks at least once a day. To begin with, the scent was enticing, and all of my dogs dashed to see what the new crinkly bag had to offer. They were very disappointed when I started handing out snacks. My dogs are divided into two groups: those who will eat almost anything and those who are extremely picky. The picky eaters sneered and refused to eat them. I finally persuaded the more adventurous palates to try one. They mouthed and licked it for a few seconds before reluctantly chewing and swallowing it. They didn't even bother to ask for a second. I was perplexed because everyone raved about these treats, but now I'm stuck with a large bag of them that no one wants. It was a major disappointment for me and my dogs, though the bag does contain a lot of snacks and is quite large.

Nutro Berry Treats are a big hit with my dogs! These treats are a big hit with my dogs! Nutro blueberry treats are a favorite among our three small dogs
5/5

You can smell the blueberry flavor, unlike some dog treats that smell like flavorless cardboard, and you don't have to worry about these treats making your dog sick like some dog treats that contain chicken or beef and are made in China with Chinese ingredients. I like these because they don't have a lot of junky ingredients, contain no GMOs or chemicals, and aren't high in calories, so I can give them to my smallest dog several times a day without any problems. This size treat is no problem for her to eat. I take great care in what I feed my dogs and try to be an informed consumer when it comes to what they eat. I've been buying these for a long time, and my dogs wouldn't be without them!.

When you have delicious apple treats, who needs bacon? I usually get these at Target, but due to supply issues during the recession, I went to Amazon
5/5

There were the ever-elusive treats, no doubt! Okay, I don't have a dog, but my neighbors do, and the dog of one of my best friends thinks I'm his mother. These are a big hit with that adorable dog. I'm not sure if one of my neighbors' dogs considers me a good friend or a chew toy. I figured I'd give treats a shot because she responds well to them. She was hesitant to accept it until she gave it a good sniff, indicating that she was unfamiliar with Apple treats. Her tastebuds seemed to explode with delight after she tried it. She sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, and sat Wow! And he paid attention to everything I said! Before giving her the treats, I inquired about her family. I mean, you don't want to give edible items to furry children without first asking, and I'm sure my friend's dog will be overjoyed when I give him the treats as a Christmas present. My visits will be more appreciated by the neighbor's dog, who will be relieved that I am a friend rather than a chew toy! The best treats I've ever had!.

It has a wonderful aroma to it
5/5

They are also well-liked by the dogs.   These were recently recommended to me by my mother - Toby, her chihuahua, is a huge fan. I gave him a couple while I was at her house, and I was astounded by how wonderful they smelled. They have a blueberry scent to them. I looked over the ingredient list and found it to be chock-full of healthy, nutritious foods - Fruit, brown rice, and oatmeal They were devoured by her dog, and I was confident that they would be devoured by both of my dogs as well. My miniature schnauzer, Ginley, is obsessed with these. He isn't a big fan of crunchy foods in general. He's getting older, and it could be because of dental issues, but these are just crispy/soft enough for him to eat without difficulty. As soon as I remove the bag from the cabinet, he becomes ecstatic. br>br>Our other dog, Bitty, a three-year-old chinese crested, is a big fan of these as well. We're training her right now, and these treats are just the right size. br>br>The bag is only half-filled - It has a good amount of treats in it, which I expect to last us a long time. br>br>I'm not exaggerating when I say these smell amazing. As strange as it may sound, I actually find myself sniffing the bag. They have a strong blueberry scent. br>br>I've included a short video of Bitty performing her tricks and receiving NUTRO crunchy treats as a reward.

There are far too many treats that have broken
3/5

My puppy doesn't care for these, but the bigger issue is that they get pulverized in the shipping bag. I know I should have asked for a replacement the first time I got this as part of my monthly subscription, but I didn't. Because there were more crumbs than whole treats, it was a good idea to save them. I thought the second time would be better, but as I delve deeper into the bag, I find that there are numerous broken treats. I'm using the broken ones as a topping for my dog's food, but that's about all I can do with them. This makes me angry. I will not be placing another order.
