Questions & Answers

Is this for a single bag or a total of five bags?

The description had completely misled me. (TOTALLY MY MISREAD) Because they were cheaper than Greenies, I ordered three. When they arrived, I discovered five bags of twenty-five dollars each x three. I now have enough pill pockets to last me until the end of the century. What a fantastic purchase!

When it comes to the number of packets, The description says five, but one of the customers below claims to have only received one. Please investigate this and let me know which is correct. ?

I've ordered these a few times and have always gotten five packets.

Just to be certain, how many bags do you get for $19? 99?

Barbara, how are you? This listing is for five bags of 25 pill pouches each. We hope this information is useful.

How did these pill pouches go from $19.50 to $19.50? 00 for five dollars to the current price of $44. over $50. 00 ?

$17. Every time I order, I pay $45 for 5 bags.

They were a hit with even my pickiest Dane
5/5

We have a wonderful Dane who refuses to eat steak unless it is medium rare. In an attempt to save our dog, we tried everything under the sun and Googled ourselves to death. I went through about 50 different variations of pill pockets, assuming our dog would never eat them. br>br>However, he stomped on these! Personally, I haven't tried any of them. I was asked to rate the "flavor" on a scale of one to ten. Thank you for your time. So, I'm assuming they have a good flavor? When he was suspicious of me, the pills became stuck in the pouch, making it impossible for him to separate the two. br>br>I was skeptical of these because our dog is 20 times more picky than any other dog we've ever had. We have three children, all of whom he grew up with, and each of whom was once a toddler who threw food out of the high chair. We learned how picky the old bastard is over the course of his 9 years on this planet. He refuses to eat most cereals, plain pancakes, sausage links, store-bought pizza, vegetables, and so on. br>br>I was sure I was wasting my time and money when I bought these, but I will sing their praises from the rooftops for the rest of my life. They literally saved the old man's life after we were unable to persuade him to take life-saving antibiotics when he contracted an infection. My husband and I had to wrestle a 150-pound stubborn ass dog while holding his mouth open and tossing pills down his throat like some sort of unholy Cornhole game. We despised him for trying to save his skin, and he despised us for being a turd. It was a difficult situation in every way. These swooped in and saved us from having to pay for expensive dog/human therapy if we kept playing the dog/pill/cornhole game. This is a fantastic item.

I'm a believer now! Every time, the Dane is duped! Any product that could be used to hide medication makes the Dane wary
5/5

Evidence of a childhood spent on medication for every ailment imaginable, as well as some that even the vet couldn't diagnose. She drops any soft treat on the ground first, sniffs it, then slowly disassembles it before eating the approved pieces and spitting out any offending medication. She might be able to teach the TSA a thing or two about thorough vetting. A peanut got stuck in my skin the other day. I'll never know what she thought I was hiding in that skin, but she wouldn't eat the peanut until the skin was peeled away and spat out on the ground to be examined. She then devoured the peanut, discarding the skin. br>Anyway, back to this fantastic product: the Dane gulps them down, the pill, capsule, or tablet happily contained within the pouch. And now I'm inside the Dane, happy as can be. I won't give her any pills unless she has these. This is your kryptonite if you have a picky pill pooch; when I ran out of these, I bought another brand, and she sneered and laughed. (Okay, maybe I'm just imagining things, but she seemed to be laughing. ) ) I now buy them in bulk and keep a sealed bag or two on hand, as well as proselytizing friends, family, and random strangers on the street. It's only a matter of spreading the word when you find something that works so well.

UPDATE: These pill pouches are a fantastic product
5/5

My dog loves them, and they're just as good as Greenies but a lot less expensive. This seller offered me a subscription in November for about $18 for 5 packs of these per month. Everything was fine until I only got one bag this month. When I investigated why, I discovered that the seller had reduced the number of packs from five to one while maintaining the same price. They made no attempt to contact me. BEWARE. For a bag of pouches that costs around $3 in the store, $18 is highway robbery. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. I don't have a subscription, but I've placed two orders since the original review and received the five packages as promised.

The claim of "25 pieces per bag" is a letdown
3/5

They get one star because my dogs like them, and two stars because they're simple to shape around the pill. br>br>Minus one star because they're so big that my dog tries to chew on them, resulting in the pill being discovered on occasion. They could easily be half the size. br>br>Zero stars for. I'm not sure if it's integrity or quality control. According to the packaging, each pouch contains "approx. 25". I didn't count the first pouch I opened, but there were TEN in the second and twelve in the third. At that point, I proceeded to open the final two - They had a total of twenty-nine people in their group. I haven't read any reviews to see if other people have been duped, so I can't say if this is common or a one-time occurrence, but I can't recommend these as a first choice because of this. I bought these to avoid a Costco run, but once these are gone, I'll go back to Kirkland's pill pockets, which we love.

Greenies Pill Pockets are a better alternative
5/5

For the past few years, I've been giving my dog pills in pill pockets with peanut butter. He'll have to take 1/2 pill twice a day for the rest of his life; Greenies pill pockets are convenient but expensive, while peanut butter is inexpensive but messy. These milk bone pill treats are a great alternative! They're cheap and easy to use for pilling my dog. He adores them to the point of inhaling them! Although they are a good size (and would be ideal for larger capsules), I usually cut them in half (since we only give 1/2 pill each time). I would highly recommend these because they were well packaged and arrived on time.

My dog has taken her pills for the first time!   I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to do everything I can to help promote this product and keep it on the shelves
5/5

I had a hard time persuading my dog to take her vital medication, which consisted of eight pills. I would try a new lunch meat, cheese, etc. twice a day, but my dog always managed to get the pill out of the cheese creation! I wasted a lot of money on foods that didn't work out. My dog looked at me as if I was insane when we tried the other major brand of pill pocket. After that, I came across this. I had to wrap the pills first, then the pouch, and finally the pouch in turkey. However, a miracle has occurred. It'd be eaten by her. And there was no way the pill was going to come out! I discovered that the smaller the pill pouch, the better, and that tearing it into small pieces allowed me to wrap the pills in a small ball, similar to play dough. I don't think I'll ever be able to live without turkey. The pill pouch is devoured by her. Both my dog and my peace of mind have benefited greatly from this product. It is impossible to overstate how highly I recommend it.
