I've had the slide to secure it for less than 2 weeks, and it snapped after that. It is also annoying that the rubber caps that cover the connection points for the cables slide out of place. It's just a matter of sliding back, but those should really I have to say, the leash is nice overall, but did not last long under normal conditions. My favorite thing about the foam handle is how comfortable it is!.

I immediately chewed off the fancy comfy handle of my Biewer Terrier's new toy after receiving it. The leash itself isn't that uncomfortable to hold, but that was disappointing. I have to say, though, that my dog is able to slide out of this leash quite easily. Despite being only five, he has a lot of potential. Since he weighs 4 pounds, I am not sure if that is the problem, but he then walks right out of it since there is no way to make it tight enough so it doesn't I do not use it when I am walking him because of this Although he wears it inside the house, it will slide off him several times a day and you will find it on the ground, around his stomach, or near his back legs (see photo of my scruffy dog). My recommendation for this leash is to avoid it.

As if you were walking a totally different animal. The golden doodle pulls, turns around to chew on his leash, strolls across the side walk and chases a butterfly every now and then. There is no such thing as that any more. I walked my dog slowly behind me for one hour and after two jumps and three pulls he understood that it was not okay. The tension was enough to correct those behaviors on its own, but along with treats and praise. Now my dog can go places and enjoy life to the fullest. I've gotten a lot of use out of them. While I am involved in fostering dogs for a rescue group, these have come in handy when picking up stray animals without collars. For dogs, they are safer, more secure, and more comfortable. A very good price. I bought one of each color and now have enough left over to keep at home and put one in each car.
