With a range of three quarters of a mile, the one dog system is ideal for small dogs

Smaller, lighter and less stimulating version of the Mini Educator receiver. It is approximately 20% smaller, 20% lighter, and 20% less stimulating
In addition to having a weight limit of 5 pounds and up, model ME-300 can be fitted with more options if a very small dog is involved
Smaller breeds can be fitted with more options through configuration. In addition, the contact points are 20-30% closer to one another, and one can turn the collar 90 degrees on the strap for a "fore and aft" effect, instead of going around the neck with the points.
The transmitter has a lanyard the collar has a receiver and the battery charger is included. Two sets of contact points, one for short hair and one for medium hair (5/8" for short and 3/4" for medium). When trying to contact point options on long hair or thick fur, order optional accessory contact points.

Questions & Answers

I'm sorry guys. Although I would be extremely interested in buying this product, I would like to know if it can be used by a Golden Retriever ?

This electronic is referred to as a "mini", but it isn't It is possible to use a collar on most dogs if it is correctly used. In particular, Micheal Ellis' collar caught my eye. In order for the dog to stop the stimulation, it must learn appropriate behavior. It will be introduced correctly if I. When the dog learns he is in control of the stimulation, he feels more secure and relaxed Almost all dogs can be trained to wear a collar. Having used this collar successfully on several large dogs, including Golden Retrievers and Labradors, I can recommend it. I hope you are well and always in peace, Jack

Can you eventually get to the point where the dog does not need to wear the collar when used as a training tool?

A really important thing to keep in mind is to not associate the collar with stimulation when using this collar. To start using it, you will probably want to set it on in the morning and take it off before bed, not just to put it on and take it off after a walk or event. During the time that I was training my dog, I used a whistle that gave him roughly 3 seconds to respond before the vibration commenced. I no longer need to send a signal when I make that sound. As far as my head is concerned, I hope that I was not the one causing the sensation, but was warning him of it ahead of its occurrence. Despite the fact that I have not taken it off for a year, I have only used it a handful of times this last year-depending on the dog and trainer, I may only need to use the collar

Are there any plans for the ET It works well for dogs that are around 50 pounds to 80 pounds Does 60 pounds seem like a lot?

You are right! I have to cut about 10 inches off the adjustable collar, because I have a dog that is 25 pounds. A second collar could almost be made with that amount. Fortunately, I have only had to use correction levels up to 26, so there are plenty of levels above that for dogs who are more stubborn or bigger We also used a leash for the first 3 weeks as I worked with a dog trainer to make sure I gave the correction at the right time. My use of the leash enabled me to immediately lead my dog to the desired behavior so she was not confused about why she had just been I'm very pleased with the collar, and it's changed my dog's behavior quite a bit. If you are using this as your first electronic collar make sure to get tips or work with a trained person. The result will be an anxious dog that is afraid to move or do anything because he was not guided into the behavior you want. I simply did not find enough tips for a newbie like me on how to use this product. It won't be long before your "new" dog becomes your best friend!

I want to run the problem of long hair on my german shepherd, so what contacts should I order?

It looks like the K9 400 collar might be the best. I have a boxer with short hair, so the contacts that came with the mini educator worked well. I'm sure if you had the right fit, it would work, too. Make sure it isn't too tight, but make sure it is at skin level. A training dog like a German Shepherd can be trained with the K9 400 model.

I have a personal relationship with Now is the time to do it, seriously
5/5

It somehow happened that I ended up with a Great Dane/ Pit Bull mix. Despite having no training, he was nearly as heavy as I was at 7 months old. It would be his habit to remove the photos and eat them off the wall. The idea of owning a shock collar didn't even occur to me. The dogs I have trained previously have been rewarding experiences for me to train and I've also dealt with difficult dogs before, so shouldn't this be simple? Yes, I agree. In any case, after 4 months of me bawling and him destroying everything despite plenty of crate time and lots of marker training, it was time to rethink shock collars. The Educator Mini came to my attention after a lot of research and the recommendation of Leerberg. Here's a bad boy that's nothing but a My first act of charging the item was to place it on him once it arrived. During a confrontation with Jesus, he was struck He watched Jesus as he spread trash all over the place after opening the bathroom cabinet. He wept after he slipped on the floor and tried to eat the ceiling fan he was trying to eat. Using this collar (in the correct manner, with training, blah blah blah) you can turn water into wine. I've been using this collar for a year and it has helped him become one of the most rewarding dogs I have ever owned. Most of the time, he doesn't need the collar on anymore, but on rare occasions, he will wear it for a couple of days to recall his faith. He has not been shocked in months. Just using the vibrate feature on it to remind him that Jesus is always watching is enough for me to remember this. The vibrate has been used on our deaf dog as a way to recall him from the yard and he associates it with a reward. When he finds its way back, he gets a treat. The dual use of the same thing. Glad to hear that.

In one week, we were able to solve 95% of the problems This method can be a bit tricky at first, but is well worth the effort

After trying this product for quite some time, I'm glad I finally started using it consistently. My dog is a stubborn bulldog mix with a lot of bad habits that were getting worse with time. I thought about sending her away to a local training camp that was very expensive. In their paperwork, they stipulated that I had to buy and use this kind Rather than spend thousands of dollars on training a dog, I decided to try training her myself with this collar, and if that did not work, I would send her to camp, since I would have to buy and learn how to use it anyway. Besides making the product easier to use, I think it could be better It required a few readings of the manual and watching some training videos online. I was stuck on the setup and couldn't get it right. The dog trainer advising to just select the "man / dog" setting and to start at around level 24 ended up being the advice I followed online. Using my hand as an example, I found that My dog says that he doesn't feel any pain, he just feels a buzzing, which makes him uncomfortable/anxious. Leash pulling, jumping on our bed, not listening to come and sit, and - that were the most problematic behaviors for my dog. It is the worst of them The act of aggression towards another dog, usually during a walk. When my husband and I tried to make her do something she did not want to do, her attitude became worse and worse - snapping at us whenever we tried to force her to do something they didn't want her Our usual routine is to get out of bed, go potty, or go outside. This collar was used to work on a few of the milder problems first - leash pulling, come and sit This was before we encountered the big issues involving her aggression and challenges to The things I was doing outside on walks were things that I could do, so I figured that if she took the collar training badly she would not necessarily associate it that way or do it to me or the home. For the first few days, I HIGHLY recommend letting the collar rest on your dog for a little while before using it outside. At first, you want them to think it is a natural consequence, but you do not want them to associate that with you or your home if they get really scared at first. did not want her fear to make her more aggressive, so I did not use it in the bed (where she snaps/challenges me when I remove her) or around other dogs at first because I feared things would get For the first 48 hours I was unsure if using the remote would be a good idea because she did have extra anxiety, and I was not sure it would make her even more anxious. However, I stuck with it, taking my time and gradually stepping back a little to observe, sit and walk with her, and go outside every morning for 10 minutes. The 30-minute time limit. As soon as she pulled on the leash or ignored a command, I pressed it on until she corrected herself. My response to pulling on the leash was to pull her, firmly but not aggressively, back towards me and press on the leash. It did not take her long to learn that listening to my commands quickly rid her of that uncomfortable feeling Rather than being a punishment, it's a communication or queue for the owner to be heard. On many occasions when she came or sat, I would also reward her with positive reinforcement (treats and attention). It only took a week for her to improve 95 percent. You will be amazed by this. It is never a problem for her to walk, sit, and stay. a couple days when her anxiety about the buzzing started to diminish, I also used it in the house to come and sit and tell her not to jump on the bed and to go out for potty breaks. Using the corrections was natural for her, but today when we were out for a walk we came across another dog, which is usually a scenario that brings out her worst - she got scared and ran away. Snarling and snapping are all signs of barking, yelling, jumping, and snarling. I ordered her to sit and stay while letting the dogs pass on the other side of the road using the skills we have been practicing. In a couple of instances, she was too excited to listen, so I used the remote to buzz her when she didn't sit right away, and that helped her to hear Everyone who knows my dog will call it a miracle - it's quite simple - but it's extremely important. Her out of control behavior used to make me walk her only with a muzzle or helper because she could run off at any moment. I have been knocked down and scratched before when she would get excited and lunge at a dog or a It is clear that she has a lot of strength. It's now fun to go on walks! Fundamentals like 'petting with a purpose' and teaching them to wait for a command before eating were also important for me to practice a few months before I started collar training. They didn't solve everything but I think helped prime the dog to point me out If you are going to start the dog out with a remote, start slowly and you won't shock the dog There's a lot of bad behavior resulting from anxiety and fear, which is why you don't want to aggravate it. The goal is to make it seem like it's a natural occurrence that they can control and to give them time to get used to it. The girl had a very quick learning curve in my case. Hope it works out for you.

We installed two collars, both of them During the past year and a half I have had two of these collars, which have both malfunctioned
3/5

This first one I got when my dog and I signed up for a training program. I stopped using it after about 5 months. I was only able to make the light and vibrate work no matter what setting I had it set to. It stopped working by November of last year, so I had to purchase a new one. This controller had been set to One Setting since May of 2018. After several weeks of wearing it, it no longer seems to be working half the time. Once again, I bought an expensive collar because I wanted to be sure it would last. Will not purchase from this brand again and recommend anyone reading this buy from another.
