In order to attach the screw to the back of the remote, we use an M3-size screw This is the product of 5 x 8 sheets. Those are the details I received directly from the company's customer service department.
Both my headphones have broken. I don't think I'm that hard on them. In our case, it's the round plastic part that holds the screw in place.
Selected User Reviews For Educator Belt/Saddle/Purse Quick-Release Transmitter Holder for Educator Remote Dog Training Collars
As soon as I removed the first screw, the other one came out, and I lost the piece that held It seems others have expressed concerns about this issue, so I decided to give it a shot. I would not recommend it. It has also been noted in other reviews that the unit broke, and I could imagine that will happen as soon as the unit catches It's a clever and useful product and if it held together, it would be worth it. Two stars since it wasn't worth $10 for use twice. A lot more than 1 star since it's quite clever and useful. [Updated final version During my second and third use, I ordered this twice, and both times it was completed within the first or second use. Although this is a great idea, it is badly designed and will quickly be a waste of money]
First update A small plastic part from the screw came loose whilst I was using it, so I contacted the seller to see if they could send it to me. My purchase would have to be refunded instead because they weren't able to fulfill my request. Customer service is good, but this rating is about the product. I'm going to re-rate. It's time to order again, and this time you should use the thread lock that someone My next attempt will be to add another star if it works. There should be no need to purchase or use thread lock to prevent the issue, but if it does, the holder can be The second update is as follows In its first usage, the Educator was flung out of the holder right away and fell to I'll tell you what, shall we? There is a small plastic piece that has broken! Therefore, that amounts to two times I've ordered the product, and each time it became useless after the first or second attempt. Having an ice chest on hand might seem like a good idea, but you'll end up tossing it out (broken or lost pieces) or ordering a replacement.
I have gone through five of them There are several problems with collar remotes, the tab on the remote keeps breaking or coming off and getting lost, the piece on the remote is very fragile if tightened too much and comes off and gets lost if not tightened enough, other issues are centered around the screw on the remote. Even though I have reordered a couple times, the convenience of having it on my belt speaks volumes about how convenient it is. I make sure to loop the leash through a belt loop to ensure I don't drop the control when the clip My only wish would be to have a metal version. A small tip Place a little blue loctite in the threads and screw tight until the screw is snug, but the piece of plastic is still free to rotate.
The belt clip is great. As a result, the transmitter will swivel, allowing me easy access to the buttons. It stays on my belt just fine. In some reviews, people complained that it was impossible to keep the screw While I have not had that problem, I did attach to the transmitter a stretchy cord which I hid in my belt loop for safety. Both of these objectives are achieved with this. It means the transmitter won't hit the floor if the screw fails, or if I release it from the belt clip and am unable to do so, it won't hit the ground. I think it's a win-win for everyone! With a push of the top button and a slide out of the clip, you can release the transmitter. Slide the clip back into the clip and it will snap into place once it's I appreciate how thoughtful the design is. It was reviewed as cheaply made, but I think it is reasonably good quality unless you are a gorilla. Nothing against gorillas, but it would be like using strands of cooked spaghetti as a Pit Bull leash and calling it cheap quality when it breaks.
For the Mini Educator remote, I have found this video to be VERY helpful. It is so nice to not have to hold this clip With the wristlet or lanyard, the remote was always in the same position, so I didn't have to turn it over and look for the buttons as I did when I used the wristlet. I find this In contrast to the other reviewer, I do not clip mine to my hip and do not have any difficulty walking through doorways or banging it against walls or doors. In our community, we normally wear clip-on watches to our shirts or jackets on the neckline. I have mine all day and it allows my hands to stay free. No charge. It is also less likely that I will not have it with me when I am or need it most. In addition, you can release the remote from the clip if you must hold it for any length of time. I recommend this clip to anyone with a mini educator collar system.
The first time I saw this clip, I was ecstatic, it made my Educator ET- remote look great It is so much more convenient to have the 1200UL always in a place that is easy to grab while not blocking. It only took a week for the plastic to crack even after brushing up against a door frame with it on. When compared to a $23+ item, this is a great deal I was quite disappointed with the phone clip that was intended for this purpose. This product is so uncharacteristic of Einstein's usual high standards that I do not quite understand why they would make something so subpar. This is the most rugged, well thought out, high quality Specifically, the issue is the small round retainer that contains the attachment screw, which slides into a guide on the clip. This design allows for any directional stress to accumulate on the edges of the chinsy retainer, resulting in it cracking. A simple solution is either to change the design, or to use a metal material. It will be a pleasure to talk with We will contact Collar/Einstein to request a replacement, then we will make sure the issue is resolved by their service. I am updating You only need to call We sent a new Einstein collar straight to an English-speaking real person, and a replacement was inside the mail within minutes. Even though there is still a quality concern, the company is at least willing to improve it with great.
I bought two and one of them did not even last a single day. Mounting the transmitter to plastic that is brittle and inadequate is a waste of money. If it was better quality, it would be a good idea. a variety of mounting options available for this ecollar choose one that best suits your needs.
That may tell us something about how this is going. The transmitter was gone when I went to look for it, so we were out and about. In the meantime, I've read about other reviews that the screw is no longer secure in the unit. However, I came up with an improved clip that works well. To attach the belt clip, I used an old Dazer II belt clip. I'm happy with how it works.
I found the neck or wrist lanyard to be a pain in the ass. It has been a game changer to be able to clip my remote to my shoulder strap or waistband while out for adventures with my dog. This device is durable, strong, as well as easy to remove for remote leveling as necessary. The software does exactly what it should.
