I will not purchase this item again because the description is incorrect. You can't give it any less than one star. The box is sturdy and well-made, and the pads are thick and spacious - The issue is that there is no barrier to prevent a 6-pound chihuahua's urine from soaking through to the floor. These are better than newspaper ONLY IN THE FACT THAT THEY ARE EASIER TO PICK UP, but make sure you wear gloves or you'll end up with your hands drenched in your dog's wetness. After picking up the pad, make sure to clean the area with a mop and a bucket of water containing some sort of cleaning chemical. There were no problems with the vendor - simply the producer - I should send them a bill for the time it took me to clean the floor after using their product; this is a waste of money.
I have three dogs, one of whom is a senior dog who constantly pees and drinks a lot of water. A beagle, about 40 pounds, is the senior dog. I took some photos to show how I set it up so there are no misses, and then I added photos to show how much she peed. You can see how yellow the pad is on the front side, but the backside does not leak through. These are the first pads I've tried that don't leak at all, even if they're left in the car overnight with p. At $0. It's about eight to ten cents more than I'd like to pay per pad, but it's well worth it to not have to constantly wipe up underneath the pad. As soon as you open the box, you'll notice that this is a thick PAD.
I've tried a few different training pad brands and have yet to find one that compares to this one. They're incredibly thick and don't leak in the least. I'm blown away by the craftsmanship. I have five litters of puppies, so this extra Large is ideal, and I will be buying only this from now on.
I'm pissed off. I was very pleased with Amazon Basics, which I ordered. I tried this brand and found it to be satisfactory. They were out of stock, so I ordered a back-up. Inadvertently purchased a large quantity of Amazon Basics. I meant to order the Amazon Basic with extra absorbency in the regular size. I re-purchased this product when it became available. ordered. I didn't get the same level of service. Even the dark blue color on the outside had faded to a light blue. I could tell it wasn't the same, but I couldn't prove it until I discovered a puppy pad in my room, which confirmed my suspicions. This pad is smaller and less durable than the previous model; either it goes back to normal, or I'm going back to Amazon Basics for good. I like to try out different sellers, but I never sell something that looks like it came from the Dollar Store. Like it, and pass it off as one of your once-high-quality puppy pads.
We need pads under my older German Shepherd at all times because she is unable to walk and cannot go outside to potty. I've tried a variety of them and haven't enjoyed any of them. After that, I experimented with these pads. They're big enough, absorbent, and don't have that unpleasant odor. If you tug on them, they will rip, so be careful. They come highly recommended from me!.
These are a little thinner than Chewy's brand Frisco potty pads, but they kept the carpet dry under the pee spot. I planned to purchase these and only purchase Frisco pads when they were on sale. As a result, on December 5, 2018, I added four boxes to my cart. I was planning to purchase them today, December 6th, but discovered that they had significantly increased in price; now, Chewy's Frisco pads are not only cheaper, but also better. I'm still using the Best Pet Supplies box I bought, and I've just switched out my dogs' potty pads. I was about to lay down a Best Pet Supplies pad when it tore.
You'll most likely open any pad by giving it one big flap/snap downwards to unfold it all at once, but these pads require such vigorous flapping to unstick the folds that it may frighten your dog. You don't want to startle the dog into fearing the pads if it's a new dog. Otherwise, they're good pads; I use three at a time in each location (my dog won't pee or poo on the same pad), but one box lasts me weeks. I placed one pad face down, then two more facing up on top of it. The face- If the dog piddles too close to the edge, the floor is protected by down one. The waterproof backing works, but if liquid gets under the pad and can't evaporate, it can be a problem, especially if you have laminate floors or older hardwood floors with lacquer finishes. I placed two pads face up partly because dogs like cushioning under their feet when they're balanced to pee or poo, so providing extra padding keeps my dog off the doormat. It also makes it simple to clean up in a pinch if someone comes over; all I have to do is grab the soiled pad on top and hide it until I have time to replace it. Having a conversation with a neighbor while pee circles are visible is embarrassing. These pads are large enough that my dog does not frequently travel off them, as she does with standard size pads, but they are also large enough that she can use one pad multiple times before I have to change it - There is no odor, and there is no leak. through. I prefer the Amazon brand pads, but I had to get these when mine ran out, and I'm happy with them. However, unfolding them is a bit of a pain.
I'm glad I was coerced into buying this. br>br>These pads are a little thinner than Amazon's, but they leak less. The main issue I had with the Amazon pads was that the dog would not go all the way onto the pad and would instead pee on the side, leaving a runny mess for at least a foot beneath the pad. Yuck! br>br>For some reason, my dashing prince now sits all the way down on the pad. When I pick up the pad, I almost never have to clean up. For a pad that isn't quite as thick, this is quite surprising. They're doing a better job than the heavy duty pad, whatever the materials are. I intend to purchase these in the future. I'm very happy!.
