There are some fantastic storytellers among us! We have a big flower pot in our house - a piece of plain orange crockery a type of - Squirrels LOVE dog poop, so keep the pot covered or they'll tear into it and leave dog poop all over the area. Put a plastic grocery bag on the bottom and fill it with these filled doggie-bags. During the week, put poop bags in it, and when your garbage is picked up, take the whole thing out of the pot, tie it off, and throw it away. Replace the grocery bag and begin the process all over again. There's a chance that these bags aren't going to leak. They are not odor-proof, however. So, if you throw single dog poop bags in the garbage for a week, it will leave a LOT of odor behind, especially in the summer! Ugh! I hope this information is useful.
It doesn't specify, but I've found them to be sufficiently powerful. I've had no problems with my two large dogs. They're a lot thicker than grocery bags made of plastic.
You don't understand that if you give me the option of choosing the color, you can't send me any color; you must send me, as I request, "blue." These bags aren't scented, either.

through. I don't love you, but I need you, sweet bag of poo. Our 13-pound Chuck goes through 2 to 3 bags per day, and we were just about to run out of the amazonbasics brand, which was fine, so I decided to branch out and try a new brand. How does it compare? br>br>Sizebr>Same width as amazonbasics, but 1inch shorterbr>br>Thicknessbr>Feels a little thinner than amazonbasics, but still strongbr>br>Thicknessbr>Feels a little thinner than amazonbasics, but still strong In a finger poke test, it held up about as well as the competition in terms of tearing resistance. The rolls are physically smaller than the amazonbasics, but that's probably due to the fact that they don't have a plastic core. br>br>Visibility/See throughbr>Its biggest weakness for some people will be that it's much more see-through than the amazonbasics. through. It isn't completely transparent, but it allows a lot more light to pass through than the amazonbasics black bags. br>br>Valuebr>Compares to the cheapest on the market, so there's no reason to complain. br>br>Dispenserbr>On the one hand, it feels like low-quality plastic, but I really like the tab that separates the last bag as you pull it. That is, indeed, very neat. I was worried that it would tear bags, but it hasn't done so yet. My main issue is that the next bag frequently falls inside, requiring me to open it to access it. br>br>Is it green? Listed as biodegradable, which is a good thing to think about when compared to other bags that can last for years. br>br>In a nutshell: They're a little smaller and have a better visibility. br> I lost a star because of this, but I'm still happy with them, especially for the price.
I've been using these bags for a week (the first roll has just run out). The bags are of good quality; they're not as thick as the ones I paid $13 for at PetSmart (10 rolls), but they're not as thin as the ones my apartment office gave me from the dollar store. They're a great middle ground, and I'm pleased with the price. Also fantastic is the dispenser! When we go out before bed, it's great not to have to look for the perforated edge in the dark. My only criticism of this listing is that it claims to be for 1000 bags (50 rolls of 20 bags) and a free dispenser, but the dispenser is nestled in the top front, as you can see in the listing photo. When you open the box, you'll notice that the dispenser takes up space that would normally hold three rolls, but it only has one. So you're getting 48 rolls of 20 bags and a free dispenser in the end. Which is still a great deal, and if you don't need the dispenser in the future, you can order a different listing without it and get 1000 instead; just keep in mind that you'll get 960 instead of 1000 with this listing.
We've gone through about 8 rolls so far and they've all been fine, but then I grabbed a new roll from the box and discovered that when picking up my dog's waste, the bag had no closed end and was falling out the other side when I went to tie it. I assumed it was a faulty one, but no, I received another and another, all of which were unsealed. None of the bags are sealed on one end of the roll, which is a defect. Every one of them is open on both sides! I'm hoping the rest of the bag box isn't like this, but I'm not going to buy from this company again.
These are high-quality bags that will last for a long time. So far, I've used 500 bags and haven't had a single bag fail or be defective. I have two dogs, one of which is 90 pounds and the other of which is 47 pounds. Over the years, I've had a lot of bags. Some are flimsy, have foul odors, and are difficult to open. These bags are not an issue for me. br>br>The only thing these bags, in my opinion, are missing is some sort of marking to indicate the bag's top. I usually look for a seam on the bottom of the garment. br>br>The bag dispenser that comes with these bags is nice; it rips the bags off and leaves a tab for the next one to be grabbed.
Last night, during the stay-at-home mandate, I walked down to the mailbox with my dog on a leash. When the leash with the "patented" dispenser was tripped, it fell to the ground and cracked open, rendering it useless. I sent a letter to the company, requesting that they replace the dispenser for me. I got a response to my email - They wouldn't replace it unless I bought the entire box of 50 rolls of 20 bags each with the dispenser within the previous 30 days. So, what am I going to do with the remaining 17 rolls that are coreless and will not fit in any other dispenser? What would it have cost Gorilla if they had sent me a molded plastic dispenser and kept me as a customer? It'll probably cost you less than 50 cents, plus postage. This company does not place a premium on customer service! Before you end up with a stockpile of unusable poop bags, go somewhere else to get your poop bags.
Half of the order's bags do not stay closed. When you tear one bag open, the seam on one side should remain closed so that the feces can be caught. The bag becomes a tunnel rather than a bag when half of them do not seal. It only happens on one roll, not every roll, and not every bag on every roll, but it happens about 1/2 - 1 roll at a time. On a lot of rolls, I got a 2/3.
As a result, there are only 960 bags available. They advertise 1000 bags divided into 50 rolls of 20 bags each. This is not the case. There are only 960 bags in total because they ship it with 48 total rolls. This isn't a big deal, but it raises the price above Amazon Basics, which makes them less expensive. br>br>They appear to be slightly thicker than grocery bags but thinner than household trash bags in terms of quality. Without a doubt, you can see right through them. br>br>They accomplish their primary goal of getting the job done. If I get a lot of rip, I'll post an update. br>br>The main reason I got these was to avoid wasting 50 tiny plastic rolls; it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing. br>br>I try to be as honest and thorough as possible in my reviews so that others can get a good idea of what they're getting. After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to give this brand a try because I wanted to feel good about reducing global plastic waste. However, contrary to what some reviewers have stated, these bags are see-through. It is not long-lasting. The second poop bag I used ripped while I was picking up the poop, so that will be the last bag I ever use from this brand.
