I had to conduct some research on this subject as well. I believe that, like me, people were perplexed (and enraged) to see a green bag with no indication that it was biodegradable. It's also a little disconcerting that there isn't much information available. We shouldn't have to read five different sources to understand the details of a product, but because I'm a trash fanatic and an engineer, I did. br>What I learned is that their plastic bag is made of regular plastic, but it contains EPI components that help break down the plastic into smaller parts more quickly (in three years). Biodegradable bags, on the other hand, are supposed to be made from plant-based materials and degrade completely in 90 days, according to some sources. There's even a certificate to back it up. So, in essence, the bags in question are half-filled. a method of preserving the environment That's something I think is a good thing! (It's preferable to doing nothing at all.) However, I believe that the green color is a ruse designed to confuse customers who expect to see something "cleaner/greener" than what they are seeing.
Only the bags are available for purchase. I did.

Consider the following scenario. It's twilight on a summer evening, and your dog has decided to relieve himself on your picky neighbor's freshly mowed lawn. You see said neighbor's car headlights off in the distance as you round the corner, giving you about 30 seconds to clean up the evidence. Not to worry, you have the AmazonBasics enhanced dog waste bag, which has arrows and words indicating which is the top and bottom, and unlike other bags, it is easy to slide the plastic apart. Being a substantial bag, you can reach down, remove the evidence, tie off the bag as needed, and be ready to wave to your neighbor as he pulls into the driveway.
We've been using these bags for a few weeks now, and they're great. The majority of the bags are fine, but the quality of these Amazon basics bags varies. Some of the bags do not have seams that are sealed.
( ) These doggy bags disgusted me! They arrived on time and without issue, but I had a box (from a different supplier) with a few rolls of poop bags to use up, and I had just opened this order to use these bags. Imagine my surprise as I attempt to clean up his first poop while out on a long walk with my 60-pound golden doodle. So I take the bag out of the holder, open it up, and begin scooping it clean, only to discover that the bag isn't sealed on the other end! Not only that, but the entire darn roll was bad as I pulled out bag after bag in search of one that was sealed on one end. Needless to say, trying to collect the mess required tying several bags together. When I got home, I opened all of the rolls that were included in the order, and they were all defective! Of course, it's too late for me to return these for a refund – Amazon! You should be ashamed of yourself for caring about something of such low quality!.
I'm not sure if my younger self could have imagined writing poo bag reviews. I'm still here, though. This is fantastic. They're a good size (disclaimer: they're a little on the small side). My dog is between the sizes of a small and a medium. They rip apart so easily, but I've never had a problem with the bags tearing while being filled, and there's a handy arrow to indicate which side is the opening- I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. For the rest of my life, these will be my go-to poop bags.
In our two-bag system, one bag holds enough kitty waste and clumped litter to last a day. a household with cats I use a big scoop and have no trouble scooping trash into the bag's opening. When I'm finished, I spin the bag, tie the opening in a knot, and toss it in the trash can outside. I placed an order for the cucumber salad. They're scented bags with a light, refreshing scent (I'm not sure if they smell like cucumbers, but it's nice). I'm not sure how well the bags will mask odors while walking a dog because I throw them away right after cleaning the litter boxes. While I'm cleaning the boxes, I don't notice any odor coming from the bags. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to buy more.
This appears to be a fantastic deal on the surface. You get a lot of bags for a reasonable price, and they're simple to tear apart and long-lasting. Problem? What a fragrance! It's a powerful force that pervades everything in its vicinity. I have to store the extra rolls in the garage so that they do not contaminate the air in the hall closet. I got Brazilian Mango, which smells exactly like mango and smells exactly like the contents of the bag after my dog's feces has been scooped up and tied off. Perhaps they're referring to a mango that has been rotting for a few days in a Rio sewer. This product begs the question, just like scented toilet paper: why? What purpose do scented poop bags serve? These don't appear to be available in Unscented on Amazon Basics, so I'll have to wait until they're gone (which I can't wait for!). ), I'll have to settle for a more expensive option, which raises another question: Why do fragrance-free products require an extra step and additional ingredients to "enhance" them? What if free items are more expensive? If you think the smell of air freshener sprayed on a corpse in advanced decomposition won't appeal to you, think again. Avoid this product at all costs.
Poop bags for dogs are what they are called. The color is an obnoxious green. The thickness is adequate to prevent tearing and ensure a clean pick-up. Because the rolls have a cardboard core, the circumference of the rolls is increased, and they don't fit well in my usual bag holder. They work fine in the holder that comes with them. The markings are nice, but in the dark, the tear line is difficult to see. The scent isn't overpowering, but it doesn't offer much of a benefit. They're fine in general. I'm not sure I'll order anything else - Without the core, I'm going back to basic black.
I walk two large dogs four times a day, which means I clean up a lot of mess. These bags are fantastic, from the ease with which they can be ripped from the roll to the high quality and fact that they are actually seamed. (Many of the previous ones I bought weren't properly sealed at the bottom. ) For a large dog, this is the perfect thickness and size. The scent isn't overpowering, and it's easy to distinguish the top of the bag from the bottom. I can save money by buying in bulk. I'm going to buy more.
