This is a design so simple, I think the person who came up with it has never had an animal to clean up after. My energy and time is spent on using this instead of cleaning the horses' stall after a snowfall or raking the dogs' yard after it snows. There are fewer of the smaller versions available. Regardless of my love for my original litter genie, I had to change the bag every three-to-four days when I had more cats I had to stay in the unit for 4 days, and that was the hardest part. It is probably one of the worst products ever created. In the past six years, I have been partnered with the Litter Genie Plus despite it becoming increasingly faulty. It seemed like a wise idea to replace the two new fur balls with a larger one given the new additions. I'd be glad to hear from you! That was so wrong of me. It's really hard for me to find a good thing This blows as far as use, cleanup, and mobility are concerned. Unlike the LG+, the place to dump poo is not very big. Besides the handle on which to drop the poo, the bin release handles also serve as handles to open Usually, as soon as you go to drop off the litter, the garbage bin is opened. A lot of shaking around of litter flakes. In the event of a poo day, the mouth of the poo bin is tapered around the bag. When the time comes to clean up, open the lid. Trying not to snag that giant bag of crap as you lift it out is interesting. Several improvements have been made to the poo bin lid, including new hinges which snap together. I agree, that also does not work. The hinge of the door often comes off, causing litter to fly all about. You don't need to move/skid the bin, so don't even bother. As well as the fun snap hinge, it comes off as well. You don't want to save with this baby too, so you should also not attempt to save on litter liners. Bags can only be held in it if they are from a specific brand. If you have multiple cats and you need to save a few bucks, it is a pain.
