The cost appears to be prohibitively expensive. However, you will receive two high-quality turf pads. One to wash and one to take its place while the other dries. The grass pads are softer and of superior quality. br>br> It doesn't stink like the others after a day of peeing, and the pee dries to the cheap material because the cheaper ones don't have draining holes. I usually wash it every other day, but I decided to leave it alone for four days to see how it would hold up. I just replaced the disposable pad beneath it, and there is still no odor. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. I wish there was a grid tray to keep the grass pad elevated above the bottom tray. It simply sits on the wet pad otherwise.
I like the concept and the size offered; there weren't many other options available in this size; I have a medium/large dog and a smaller dog, and when it's raining for days, they won't "go" outside without difficulty. If two of the corners aren't broken, I believe this will work. As things stand now, I'll have to be extra vigilant about checking it on rainy or cold days, as the tray may not be able to hold any liquid. br>br>When I first opened the box, two of the corners had already broken (see photos). The bottom tray is very thin and brittle, and the corners aren't well protected. There was some padding inside the box, but it was only along the edges and there was none on the corners. I don't think it's worth returning it, so I'll have to see what I can do with it. It's disappointing because I paid a much higher price for this one (even if it wasn't broken), and now I wish I had ordered a slightly smaller one with a more durable construction/material.
This porch toilet is one of my favorites. I've tried a few and this is the best! I even tried the grass potty, which was a complete disaster. This one is the perfect size for my two-dog household. The grass is soft and porous, with numerous drainage holes, and the grate between the tray and the grass/pads keeps it much more dry. Finally ! Living in a highrise, it's a lifesaver; I'm surprised that it doesn't smell and that it comes with a second piece of grass so that when you clean one, you have a dry one ready to go. This is a fantastic design!.
Several times over the course of 13 years, a husky mix girl dog used indoor pee pads to avoid having to hold her bladder while her owner was away at work. It's been a no-no for as long as I can remember. With gentle praise and a few treats, I recently purchased this artificial grass, pee pads (comes with two, you supply the rest) underneath, and plastic holding tray, and she jumped right in! I have to be careful not to make changing pee pads and spraying neutralizer spray on it and underneath it seem like a chore, or she will refuse to use it if she believes it is something she isn't supposed to do. It's been about three weeks, and she's already put it to good use. It comes with two artificial grass pads, one of which can be gently hosed off and dried. It also has a natural odor that helps to balance things out. I've noticed that if I don't keep it clean, she won't use it because she'll be afraid of stepping in a previous pee spot. This purchase has been extremely beneficial to me. It's ideal for when you don't have time to go outside to potty. I'm not sure about puppies because it's probably not good for chewing, but it works great for my Senior 13-year-old 50-pound dog.
dog who has been properly trained! For years, I've been using paper pee pads with our indoor beagle, who has accidents in the house for no apparent reason. We haven't been able to get her to stop using her pad. When she was a puppy, I'm sure someone taught her that behavior. I'd had it with leaving filthy pee pads in the room she'd taken up residence in. It not only saves me money on pee pads since I bought it, but it also prevents leaks from the side of the pee pads where she'd miss them. I was losing luster and sealer from the areas where she missed the pad because I had all hardwood floors. This grass pee pad is HUGE, so she'll have plenty of room for her "mistakes. " And, despite the fact that the "potty room" has a grass square, she took to it right away. I'm hoping that this will help her get in the habit of only peeing on real grass outside. It appears that the grass pad is genuine. It comes with two pads, so you can wash one while the other is being washed. Because she doesn't always pee in the house, I let her pee on the grass pad all day, and sometimes two. She only does it when I'm at work and she's alone at home. It's simple to lift the grass pad. I take it outside and spray it down with the water hose after pouring some cleaner on it. As described, liquids flow straight through the grass. It dries quickly and is far superior to using 14 paper pee pads per week. I'll stay, and I'll keep leaving paper pee pads under the grass mat to soak up urine in the black catch-all. all. Overall, I'm very pleased with this pad, and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to outdoor training.
I was a little hesitant to order this at first, but I'm glad I did. It has a great look and feel to it. My dog is 9 years old and already potty trained, but I recently moved into an apartment and wanted to get him a grass pad to pee on throughout the day in case he needed to go. We are on the top floor, and walking down so many stairs just to let him pee gets tiring after a while. He hasn't learned to pee on it yet, though I haven't tried to teach him, but he enjoys lying down on it and rolling in it, so that's good enough for me. I'll eventually teach him, but for now, the grass pad comes with a tray on which to place the grass and pee pads, as well as four pee pads and two perfect fit grass pads. It's perfect for me because the grass is easy to clean in the bath tub and pee pads are available at almost any pet store. It's fantastic, and I strongly advise you to try it out.
For potty training 6 week old puppies, I was hoping this would work. Because the grass did not adhere to the pan, they simply dragged it out and ripped it to shreds in minutes. I then wanted to just use the black pan and fill it with litter, but the first time I cleaned it and dried it, it warped and couldn't be used again. I'm down on my luck.
