The best piddle pad I've ever purchased, and I've purchased quite a few. The carpet has more holes, and the dogs' paws aren't drenched in pee. Because I despise piss trays, I also use them with Hartz no leak pads underneath. I'm having a hard time finding disposable pads that fit the tray completely, but my puppy always ends up in the middle.

We use it on our boat because there are times when we don't have anywhere to let our dog out to relieve himself. We have a three-year-old Shepherd who has a lot of urine, so I have to use potty pads. The urine easily passes through the grass mat and is absorbed by the pad, making cleanup a breeze. The pad keeps the tray dry, and I wash and air dry the mat. We haven't experienced any odor issues. It's roomy and provides plenty of space for my dog to run around in. The mat appears to be long-lasting enough for our needs. This makes me very happy!.

Isn't draining as quickly as it should be. The image of a large dog lying on the mat is misleading. It might work for puppies with extremely low urine output, but it's completely useless for everyone else. I have an American Bulldog about the same size as the dog in the product photo. The mat's surface area is large enough for her. Unfortunately, that is its only redeeming feature. My dog's urine did eventually drain through the grass pad, but it was such a slow process that she was still covered in pee. The grass is also very bushy, so no matter what you do, it will be covered in urine. Cleaning the rubberized mat is time consuming because urine residue must be removed from both sides. It sheds the little green grass "blades" in a flurry during this process. The mat is supported by a flimsy rigid plastic tray. Two of the corners of mine were cracked when it arrived, resulting in sharp and potentially dangerous edges. It does not appear to be a long-term solution. The product is not worth $70 in any way.

I believe a massive dog would be too large for even the large size, but I could be wrong. On the large size, our dog has plenty of room to do his business; once we were able to let him go for walks, there was no confusion about him going on real grass, and he uses both options (our yard and this porch potty) without difficulty. It will definitely stink if you don't use high-quality pee pads under the turf (we use the bully ones). You must also be diligent in replacing those and hosing the turf off on a regular basis; we do this every two days. Because it is literally right outside our door, this option remains our preferred potty spot. br>br>We just got a new puppy, and our vet told us not to let him out on the ground until his shots were finished (which will take a few weeks). We decided on a porch potty setup, and I went with this one because it included two grass inserts. For us, this has been fantastic! We can hose one down and let it dry in the sun while we prepare the other. Every one year, we switch them out. 2 days. I was very concerned about how it would smell on our porch, but it does not! We use good quality pee pads underneath, which keep the urine contained and prevent us from spilling pee in the tray when cleaning. It's simple to clean, has no odor, and makes potty training a breeze! Our dog now recognizes this as his designated potty area, and I'm doing a fantastic job! We've even taken it in our car and placed it in the very back, where he fits perfectly. I also like that this product has additional drain holes, which means that pee does not remain saturated in the grass and instead drains quickly and directly to the pee pad underneath. I would strongly suggest it. We're hoping that by using this product, he'll be able to transition to peeing in our backyard more easily once he's allowed to, but we'll also keep it on our covered porch as a backup option for when it's raining. This product would be ideal for puppies who are unable to go outside on the ground, apartment dwellers, and those who require a second potty option in the event of rain or storms, among other uses!.

Our order arrived on time, with all of the necessary pieces, and it looks fantastic! br>However, things aren't quite as exciting. br>Because we're getting a dog this weekend, the device has yet to be tested on an animal. We put the potty tray and grass (but not the potty pad underneath) out on our balcony to prepare for our new puppy, and were disappointed to find that after only one day outside, the tray is already warped and won't catch any pee when our dog finally uses it. We were so excited for this product, and we're so disappointed that it's already broken before we've even had a chance to use it. We'd appreciate a replacement tray to see if this was a one-time occurrence or if this is the standard for the product. We brought in an umbrella today so that we could try the next tray fully shaded, but it was still too hot. I didn't expect it to warp as quickly as it did for the price.

We've used sprays and tried everything we could to get our dog to use it. Instead, she uses our yard (which includes artificial grass) and will go on the floor or carpet if we don't let her into the yard; we placed the pad adjacent to the yard in a rain-protected area. So far, nothing has proven to be of any assistance. We'll keep working hard.
