Questions & Answers
Hemp seed and hemp oil are both present in this product. All-natural ingredients that work amazingly well! It helps to calm down my hyper Sheppard/coyote mix. She's a 2nd generation German Sheppard service dog who gets nervous when she hears fireworks or gunshots and hides in the bathtub, but now that she's given calming treats, she just goes to the bedroom instead of the bathtub. This is the third container I've purchased for my daughters, and they absolutely adore it!
I'd say 4 hours for a few hours. 5 hours

br> I believe that anyone who does not display their product's ingredients is concealing something. I purchase these and put them to the test. only to discover that they contain yucca, a plant that is toxic to dogs. Even if a small dose is said to be harmless, it isn't worth it. I can't risk it because my dogs are already prone to stomach upset. A photo of the ACTUAL ingredients is included as well. It appears that the advertising is deceptive. Use at your own risk, as well as that of your pets.
My German Shorthaired Pointer is terrified of being separated from me. When I have to leave, these treats really help him relax; he normally destroys crates, bends and breaks the bars, and always manages to escape, but I started giving him these treats when I bought a new crate. I give him the recommended amount right before I leave the house, and they are a great treat for him and help him stay calm while I'm away! Thank you again for saving me a few hundred dollars on a crate.
They were a resounding success! As you can see from the photo, she was able to get some rest! I've been giving them to my other baby to help with nervous scratching since then, and he can now relax as well. I wish I'd known about these before now!.
I know there are a lot of reviews that say it worked for other dogs, but after my experience, I'm not sure that's true. I have a 7-year-old chihuahua-Pomeranian mix who weighs 12 pounds. I do a lot of painting, and he becomes very needy and sad when I'm working on my projects, so I figured this would be beneficial. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations, but I believe it did the exact opposite of what it claimed to do. It made my baby even more needy, and it made it more difficult for him to fall asleep; he usually takes an afternoon nap, and he couldn't even sleep for that. He had to run and see what was going on every time someone made the tiniest of movements, and he doesn't normally bark (I know, Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom-Pom Chis has a reputation for being a naughty dog, but he's actually a very good dog who only barks when the doorbell rings. In my experience, it did more harm than good because he couldn't even take his afternoon nap and became so agitated that his temperament changed physically. Again, this was just my dog's experience; it may or may not work for others, but I felt compelled to share because it was making my poor baby so agitated. I really wish it had worked for King Gerald because I had a lot of projects I needed to finish before Christmas, but it literally made my dog start crying for attention, and he never vocalizes like he did when using this product; he kept pawing and crying for attention more than usual. He liked the taste, but I won't let him eat any more because it changed his behavior. I did it for four days in a row. I tried less and more than the recommendation, but nothing seemed to help him.
She was on Apaquel (which didn't work) at the time. She'd been on far too many rounds of antibiotics, and I was more concerned about the side effects. She's ten years old, but she's still a joy to be around. Her nerves aren't as strong as they were before she went overseas and returned to me. It takes very little to agitate her. I weaned her off all medications and replaced them with Pre/Probiotics, Digestive Enzymes, and nutrient-dense homecooked organ meats and vegetables. Her personality is unique. As her immune system recovers, her flare-ups are less severe. I purchased these hemp chews in the hopes of assisting her in relaxing while she recovers. So, I only gave her HALF of a chew (always start with less and see how they react) - She was so relaxed that she was practically grinning. She isn't kicking, chewing, or licking her stomach, so the topical ointments I apply to her have a chance to work. I've also noticed that the calmness she experiences lasts for a long time, so I don't have to keep giving her more every few hours. br>br>I highly recommend this and will be purchasing more as time goes on. I think it's a great product because our dogs are sometimes just as stressed as we are and can't tell us. Take a look at her picture - she's stunning. centered and content Thank you very much!.
Bella Sofia, my anxious and separation-anxious dog, adores these treats! I give her four a day, and it helps her stay calm and not jump around like she normally does. She's been unbelievably good!.
These are a big hit with my two picky dogs. It's fine with me if they believe they're treats. I have one who suffers from anxiety and another who is older and is beginning to experience hip problems. I give them both of these "treats," and it's made a significant difference. The older one is much more active and isn't limping nearly as much as she once was. The other's anxiety has almost vanished, despite the fact that she is only one. She used to chew things when we left, but that appears to have stopped almost immediately after we gave her these chews. All I have to do is shake the canister, and they dash away. My lab mix gets four chews per day, and my chihuahua mix gets two chews per day.
