I received a different product on my seventh purchase of this item; the website on the back of the old packaging now redirects to "The Missing Link," so I guess "Pet Kelp" (if that's who made it before) is no longer in business. It's not the same product because it has Glucosamine Hydrochloride instead of Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin Sulfate, as the original did. The new packaging does not include a list of minerals or other information. (In my photo, the new stuff is on the left. ) ) Am I correct in inferring that the content isn't guaranteed? I've bought this item four times now. Obviously, I'm pleased with it. It's a low-cost way to supplement your pet's diet with Gucosamine and Chondroiton. (Can you tell me why those pills are so expensive? When I re-mix the Sojos, I add it to the mix. hydrate. Along with his fruits and vegetables, my 11-year-old Boston Terrier receives a healthy dose of vitamins and minerals. He's in fantastic shape, and I want to keep him that way, so finding a product like this has been crucial in his feedings. A local pet store specializing in high-end pet products first brought it to my attention. They had closed, so I was relieved to discover this product on the internet.

Even after a few months of high-quality food and other tried-and-true supplements, our most recent rescue puppy's coat was dull, brittle, thin, motley, and shed profusely; We're now in the middle of our second bag and it has made a tremendous difference in his coat; it's now thick, shiny, healthy, softer (his breed has coarser curly coats so as soft as possible) and there is so much less shedding. I was a little skeptical after reading reviews that claimed they saw a difference in two days because it takes more than two days for hair to grow realistically, but after two weeks, we did see less shedding and new growth coming in shinier, My neighbor commented on how much better his coat looks now (unsolicited feedback from a fellow dog lover and rescue dad) the other day. After a world-famous Sacramento veterinarian recommended it to me, I've been feeding this brand to our dogs for years. It has always been of the highest quality and consistency for me. When one of our daughters was diagnosed with stomach cancer, I began using it. Anything I say about it is purely anecdotal, but I feed it to our other daughter and alternate between probiotic and anti-biotic supplements. type of oxidant In most cases, I would recommend the latter; however, as my daughter has gotten older, she has been experiencing stomach issues, and switching to a probiotic appears to have helped solve that problem after only a week of use. br>br>A little goes a long way, and the texture and sweet (rather than ocean) scent make it very appealing. We're talking about dogs, so I've never gotten more than a sidelong glance. I'm guessing cats would be fine with it, depending on how picky they are. br>br>While there are many options on the market, I believe this is the best, as it contains the highest-quality Nova Scotia kelp and other supplements. 5 out of 5 stars and a strong recommendation.

I rescued a dog who had a slew of health issues: her skin and coat were a mess, and she had bowel issues; after three weeks on this product and some salmon oil, all of her ailments had vanished! Despite the fact that this product is labeled as "probiotic," it does help with dry skin/coat and skin allergies because it contains flaxseed and kelp, both of which are beneficial to the skin/coat. I recommend buying both because fish oil is good for coats and helps this powder stick to the food. This salmon oil was purchased by me. br>.

It's truly incredible. Our 12. year- old Black Labrador Retriever The skin of the German Shepherd mix developed an itchy, flaky rash. We gradually reduced the number of foods we suspected were causing the allergy. We tried everything, from prescription shampoos to feeding her expensive hypoallergenic dog food. (In the end, we decided on Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PW Moderate Calorie Dry Dog Food from Royal Canin. ) It helped, but the dandruff, constant scratching, and excessive shedding never completely went away. That is, until we began to feed her Missing Link Pet Kelp Formula Skin. Coat. She loves it when we mix it with Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Original Skin/Food Sensitivities Canned Dog Food and treats it like a treat. The flaky skin and itching were completely gone after two days of using Pet Kelp Formula. Furthermore, her coat has never been more lustrous or healthy.

This product is fantastic!! I couldn't be happier! Because of this supplement, my beagle was able to stop taking his thyroid medication. He's not bothered if it's mixed in with his food. However, because it's a powder, your dog may leave it at the bottom of the bowl if you only feed dry food. I don't have that problem because I mix wet and dry kibble in half and half. However, the product is excellent in and of itself - There are no additives of any kind in this recipe. The list of ingredients suggests that it is also suitable for human consumption. br>It comes highly recommended!.
