The deshedding tools all have the same tooth combs. For large dogs, this is a large size. Smaller dogs will benefit from this size. Rottweiler dogs have short hair, as far as I'm aware. As a result, I recommend that you de-stress. a shedding tool for people with short hair
I don't have any issues with that. My first one is still in use three months later.
That I am not aware of, simply purchase a new one and do not go without it!
Yes, I believe that is correct. Sadly, this is true. I used to have a short hair brush that worked fine on my sheperd, but once I got the long hair de-tangle brush, it was a different story. I only noticed a difference after using a shedding tool. I doubt your basset would appreciate the de-cluttering. brush removal

I have a Blue Heeler, and I collect enough hair from him to make a new dog.
I paid $50 for this thing, which I only used a few times before it snapped in half on my Husky!.
It has a blue hue to it. The one being sold is not the one shown in the picture!.
A deshedding brush was not part of my order. I placed an order for a brush designed for a large long-haired dog. It was only after it arrived that I realized it was a deshedding tool for long-haired dogs. I have a 100-pound GSD with long hair, not short, and I'm not sure if I'll like this brush because it works differently than the first furminator brush I had. Is it necessary for me to have two brushes or can I just use this one? I will say that the brush does exactly what it claims to do: it removes an underlayer of hair that I had never seen before. More time is required to evaluate.
I have a Furminator that I bought over ten years ago that is still operational. In April 2021, I ordered a new one, but after a month, the handle broke. I'm extremely disappointed!.
The quality of the fit and finish isn't as good as my neighbor's actual furminator. The plastic guides on both ends of the bush face are missing, so you'll have to be extra careful. Brushing my husky is still possible, but I wish it were a genuine furminator.
It's incredible how much undercoating it removes.
What should I start with? We have a Collie puppy who is one year old. His baby hair is finally starting to fall out. It has been a dreadful experience. I'd been brushing him with traditional brushes and felt like I was getting a lot out, but his hair texture had changed and he still looked homeless. The FURminator is the best thing that has ever happened to the world. I took it out of the box and began brushing my dog right away. His tresses were blowing in the wind. This thing would get clogged with every brush, I'm talking about it. It was time to brush again after I pressed the easy release button. He had a sibling by the time we'd finished half of his body! He now has two if you keep brushing. In all seriousness, please do yourself a favor and purchase this for yourself rather than your dog. His coat is starting to look a lot better, and it's helped me cut down on the number of times I have to vacuum in a day. Thank you for your help, FURminator.
