Questions & Answers

What are your plans for putting it to good use? I've never seen anything like it before, and I'm in desperate need of help. ?

It's a breeze to work with. You open it up, grab the handles, and brush the dog down, watching in awe as more hair flies off your dog than you could ever imagine. Alternatively, for hind legs and chest, keep the handles together as shown in the photo.

Is it safe for horses to use?

I use it on my horses and it quickly removes the hair. However, I only use it for mud or when they shed their winter coat.

Is this a big enough size for a large dog?

Yes- For large dogs, this method is effective.

What are the applications for this?

A YouTube video is always an option. It's a rake that's used to clean up after dogs that have shed. Basically, all you have to do is lay the edge down and comb your dog out. If you have a large dog, you can open it up to make it easier to comb out.

Outside is the place to be! She sheds a lot
5/5

I have a husky German shepherd mix. Every day, I vacuum. She enjoys having her hair brushed, and I have to do it outside because the debris would fill a lawn bag. It never comes to an end. It does, however, assist. I'd rather have the brush and the hair on my clothes, furniture, and floors than on my clothing, furniture, and floors. Given how much hair falls out, it's amazing she isn't bald. It doesn't hurt her in the least if you don't go against the grain. It also has a lot of surface area, so it's not like you're fighting a monster with a toothpick.

I adore you
5/5

This brush is amazing! I adore it. Oh my goodness, I have a German Shepherd/Husky mix who sheds like no other dog you've ever seen unless you've had a dog with similar fur. It's insane. br> I mean. You'd think he'd go berserk with his fur. br>I was using a furminator, but it was taking forever, and a German Shepherd forum suggested that over-feeding was the problem. The dog's coat would be harmed if the furminator was used. I was terrified because I adore my dog's coat, even if he does leave the majority of it around the apartment and in my car. That's when I decided to take a grooming course and start looking for new ways to groom dogs. 1: br>br>2: br>br>3: br>br>4: This shearing blade is available for purchase.
2: Obtain a rubber curry comb and/or a zoomgroom, as well as any other bathing massage-style combsbr>3: Purchase a slicker brush. A STRONG preference for a self-employed individual. one that requires cleaning!
4: Get a borsehead brush (or something similar) if you want to go all out.
5. Obtain pet shampoo, of course. If you're short on cash, opt for organic dish soap instead of human shampoo. Because pets' PH levels differ from ours, they require a special shampoo. br>br>Step One: Scrub them in circles with the plastic massage style comb, as if you were washing a car, once you've got the dog and can reward them with treats to make grooming time fun for them. Circular motion, circular motion, circular motion, circular motion, circular motion, circular motion, circular motion Gently, and continue to offer treats as a reward! This loosens the ready-to-come-off fur by breaking up any dirt and debris. br>Step 2: Organize your materials. Brush them with this shedding blade, starting with the longer side and working your way down to the shorter side. It's fine if a lot of the fur comes off. Brush until the fur falls off completely or significantly lessens. br>Step 3: Organize your information. IT'S TIME FOR A BATH! There are a TON of goodies! Water is good, water is enjoyable, and water is synonymous with food, food, and more food! Wet the dog again with the plastic massage style brush in circular motions; this will help the water penetrate the skin more quickly and effectively. After that, add the shampoo and mix it in thoroughly with the brush. If the shampoo says to let it sit for a while or to just wash and rinse, follow the directions on the bottle. While rinsing, continue to use circular motions to ensure a clean rinse; no shampoo should be left behind (pro-tip). Get a bucket of water and mix in a cap or two of shampoo, then pour this mixture on the dog (never on the dog's face or above their ears, only from the neck down to the rump!). ) You'll use a lot less shampoo, but it'll still do the job, and it'll be easier to rinse the dog. br>br>br>br>br>br> While drying your dog, use the shedding blade once more. More fur should be removed; otherwise, this is fantastic! br>br>br>br>br>br> After using the shedding blade's long and short sides, use the slicker brush to get rid of any loose fur and slick down the coat. br>Step 6: Organize your materials. (Optional) After the dog has dried, use the boars head brush on a daily basis to help the oils from the dog's skin reach the top of their fur/hair, which will moisturize it. br>br>That method has proven to be effective for ME. I'm not claiming it to be the best, but it was the best option for me and my circumstances.

Brush is the best! The designer of this brush is a genius - This is a fantastic device! br>br>We have a Shepherd mix puppy with medium-length fur (probably an inch or so), but she has the Shepherd undercoat
5/5

It takes some practice to get the hang of this thing, but once you do, it's fantastic. I prefer it when it's "connected" and still in the teardrop shape (as shown in the product photo), but it can be opened for more surface area. The teeth on one side of this brush are larger than the other - Begin brushing with that side; I recommend doing so outside because a LOT of fur comes out and flies around. Switch to the side of the brush with smaller teeth once you notice that there isn't much fur coming out. Poof - Fur continues to emerge. br> Your dog will be so soft when you're done! This brush is absolutely incredible. br>br>One of the other reviewers stated that their dog dislikes being brushed with other brushes but enjoys being brushed with this one. Unfortunately, that is not the case for me (my dog despises all brushes, including this one), so I use a kong toy filled with peanut butter to keep my dog distracted while I brush. br>br>This is a product that I strongly recommend.

For our furry friends, a magical wand
5/5

baby! This is the ideal tool for removing our Australian cattle dog's soft undercoat (also known as the Blue heeler). Halfway through our two-mile run, I stop at the park and peel mounds of undercoat with this slicker. The first time I used it, I couldn't believe how much fur it got rid of, and Pepper, our dog, loves it. Its teeth are tiny compared to a brush, but they simply wipe away the fur, and Pepper appreciates how it stimulates his skin without being too harsh or uncomfortable. I imagine it's similar to how he enjoys scratching me after I've just cut my nails. Because this works so well, subsequent uses produce less fur. My carpets and floors haven't had a hair in them since I started using this shedding blade. There are no longer any bunnies around. It's Pepper's grooming tool of choice. It's like a magic wand for our furry friends, according to my wife. baby.

This is an incredible shedding tool
5/5

This shedding blade performed admirably in my laboratory. His hair is short and straight, with no curls or fluff. This is just a heads up. Use this outside, where the hair will be carried away from you by the breeze. The amount of hair it removes from my dog is incredible. He is less itchy and appears to be looking better.

My jack russell puppy sheds like a mad woman
5/5

My jack russell puppy sheds like a mad woman. It was even worse than my Chihuahua. I used five different brushes, including furminater, but none of them worked. I had given up hope until a friend told me about this brush for dogs with short and coarse hair. This is the only brush that has worked for her thus far. For dogs with short or coarse hair, this product is highly recommended.

3/5

This blade is possibly sharper than others I've used in the past. Or is it possible that the teeth have a different shape? This thing clearly bothers my GSD, for whatever reason. He's been groomed with a grooming blade for all 12 years of his life, but for some reason this one "pulls" more than other blades I've had; also, I prefer to use it folded, as shown in the main photo, but the handle design is very poor, and the loop that holds the handle together has to be repositioned at least twice or three times every brushing session. It gets the hair out very well, but I've had others that do the same job and are more comfortable for the dog.

Reduce the amount of hair you lose
5/5

I should've gotten one a long time ago. With five cats, this has made a significant difference in reducing shedding. Another advantage is that my cats enjoy having their fur combed. They'll lie down, then roll over so I can brush their bellies. This book comes highly recommended.
