I was presently surprised to discover that it had a 100 percent charge, as one of the things you see is what you get. As a bonus, it has a 4 foot extension cord so you won't be wired to a wall outlet. The quality of this unit is fantastic, but I had to exchange it since my cats' hair is too thin and fine. I would definitely recommend it to dog owners, and I encourage cats to try it out as well, you might have better luck than me. I would like to point out a few things Unfortunately, this pair of scissors are not of the best quality, and the end on the blades does not curve, so I suggest finding another You can see from the picture that the comb has some bent teeth, but I didn't mind since I already own a pair of scissors and a comb, so I didn't have to use the ones included.
